DCLissa17 - All right, long time no post! I know we've kinda wandered away from this thread. I've had a VERY stressful last 3 weeks or so and while it will hopefully be getting better, the next 6 months are going to be kinda rough. I've been cheating a lot with sugary treats and my exercise has just not happened. I do hope to improve on that as it gets warmer out and I get outside walking. However, I am tired of feeling guilty about the snacks. I thought about doing P1 again and try to be more rigid, but I think that for me, it makes more sense to just move on to Phase 3 and just have those occasional indulgences without attaching guilt to them. I'm not really trying to lose weight, just establish a better WOE, and I think I have done well with that. Honestly, I generally one have 2 starches (occ 3) and one fruit (occ 2) a day and am very good at eating enough veggies, picking lean proteins and whole grains. I feel like I have successfully made this transition. Sooo....on that note, I plan to just call myself in P3 now. I'll still post in the journals, so see you there!
Play-doh - I already posted in your journal, Lissa, that I think your plan makes perfect sense. High fives on your success! As for me, I'm going to keep going on Phase 2, try to drop 10 pounds by the end of summer, and another 5 by 2012. That should put me right where I want to be. A new short-term goal I've added is to run a 10K on May 30 and if it goes well, maybe I'll train even harder over the summer and run another 10K in the fall. I'm feeling pretty optimistic, especially since my treadmill running/walking has been going so well.
