Haven't exercised for a long time and need to get into shape have looked at some exercise routines
not sure were to start any ideas.

What do you like? Are you more into solo activities or do you like participating in a group? More into resistance training or cardio? (Ideally you need both, but start with what you enjoy and motivates you!) Like to dance and move? Or walk or run? Own a bike? Have access to a pool? Need something quick and efficient or looking for more endurance activities? Maybe think about what you see yourself being able to keep up over time. What you do is probably less important than finding what you enjoy and can keep up with consistency and intensity over time.
