Good morning all !! :D Anne it is cranapple wine :wink:

Today I mailed the last check .............I'm debt free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!('cept the house), that will be pd right b/4 I retire.
WOOHOO!!!! I'll NEVER use credit to stay in debt again!!!!

I have a budget( DH does not do any fin. stuff).
I have savings for my emergency fund .
I'm working on getting our credit union fund going for long term savings. It will grow quickly now that I'm not paying all that interest to credit !!! :lol:
I am putting 6% into my 401K/with a 2% match= 8%
DH is working part time & happier by far!! I'm working about .9 FTE/ occ. full time .
I pray that we will keep this positive financial balence!!!

158.5.... not doing so good on walking.... same old stuff... cold windy snowy,nasty winter. SIGH....
I am taking supplements... calcium,multi vit,vit. D,fish oil, a baby aspirin.I'm not on any prescription meds, I hope that continues.I'll have a new MD as I'm on a new ins. plan.... so I'll need to get an annual check up .Yippee.

Back to work .... stay warm & safe!!!

Congrats on getting the debts paid off. You are amazing!

You should see the list of supplements I take - got you beat, and then some! I'm determined to not go on statins, so I've been taking Red Rice Yeast (or Red Yeast Rice...........very confusing - it's yeast that grows on red rice, so why call it Yeast Rice?). Nature's statin, but gotta be careful, because like the scrips, you can have muscle pain from it - gotta got slowly at increasing it as I found out the hard way :(

Weather here is the pits - it's almost as bad as yours! Can't wait for spring!

MWAAAHHHHH!

I'm careful of the OTC supplements. I had a patient die after taking" L Tryptophan" back in the late 80s .
It was not FDA regulated & the purity was bad..it was contaminated & lots of pepole became ill a few died.
She was a lawyer & helped me fill out my second DDs adoption papers, while on a ventilator. It was terrible to lose her.

any who.... it is DD#1 b-day today... 28 yrs. She requested crock pot lasagna!! yum.

And the ground hog says winter will end early!!! Lord I hope so!!!
I hope you are all safe & warm in this nutty ,nasty weather.

being honest>>>>>>> I know why I'm not losing......
b= breaky burrito/sm. Amish muffin/tea 350
s= 1/2 WW bagel & cr cheese/ tea 200
l= HM Zuke soup/ham N cheese croissant/ yogurt/fuze 700
s= clementine 50
d= lasagna/+ wine 400+ ? 400= 2100 cals :roll: :!: Way too much for me.
fruit N veg= 6 / fiber= 30 g/ protein= plenty/ fluids= 70+ oz
I walked 1 mile ,plus going "tile shopping" for my bath & kitchen floors.
back to work!!

Any Ideas????

I'm cheap ,so here goes..... go to a good community play together, dress up & make it special. ditto a community concert.

Spend the day in a town near you that is new to you . Be a tourist there. Visit historic homes /museums / old beautiful churches.

Invite over a friend or 2 of DDs, make a special meal ,go thru old pics & videos of your fam. when younger. :lol: it is always a good laugh!!

Go dancing..... :D

contact some of her old friends & have them send her cards (a little down memory lane thing )& pics of when they were little.

she is a lucky woman to have you two as parents!!!
