I'm with you. My first weigh in will be Feb 1st too. I'll just begin from there. I had a rough weekend and I'd rather not start with 10 plus...

I will also weigh in tomorrow...and hopefully be really good from then on.

It is currently 20 below zero here...feeling like 36 below zero as per what the weather channel says. Crazy.

Hey,

I am in for 5 pounds.

That would put me at a 30 pound loss over all. I have a pretty good handle on food, at least I know what works for me. I really need motivation to exercise. I have a window of time in the morning that I plan to use. Otherwise it won't happen. I can't do anything in the evenings or else I can't sleep.

Wish me luck and it is OK to nag me...

Did I already know you live in Montana, Dragon? (I'm a true air-head at times!) I went to college in Bozeman, I lived in Gallatin Gateway with my husband, too - and taught at Meadowlark Elementary school in Billings. I have friends from Deer Lodge and all over the state, really! Yep - you live in a COLD state! lol

I'm in for 10 pounds. As of this morning, I've lost 4 of my 5 holiday pounds, so I still have one of those to lose, and another 9 would be fabulous as well. I'm a Monday weigher and plan to continue doing that, but will post my updates on Tuesday to stay with the group.

So far today is good food wise, I got some exercise in doing PE class (lots of jumping) and some running around at recess playing soccer with second graders (but, I'm still keeping an eye on my little guy with visual impairments, so it's not straight running, but it is cold out there and running in the snow gets the heart pumping pretty quickly). Dh wants to do eliptical tonight, so may get some of that in, but if I do it, probably not more than 20 minutes or my legs might fall off, LOL.

Kyan, I can only count my weight once a month..the week after my time. so, is that doable. I will just put the amt lost or gained that weigh in. that will give me starting weight, feb, march, april, may and if not june I will weigh anyway on the 21st or 20th. Would that be ok? my body fluctuates so much I can be up or down 6lbs in one day lol but it doesn't stay so I don't count it.

well let me know.

hugs, yello

Hey Yellow!

Absolutely that's ok!! We are all so different in how our bodies are shaped, our health, and how we lose weight and what we struggle with.... one "formula" could NEVER work for all of us! I just think this will be a lot of fun to do TOGETHER!!

Now I have a really pathetic confession to make..... I can't believe I am telling you all this. (blush)

Tonight I had a last hurrah. I ate a big huge honking 10 pound burrito from Chipotle. I DIDN'T eat the tortilla.... just the inside crap. Good heavens they make those burritos BIG! I also ate some chips and guacamole. And um... a Mr. Pibb. But I figure I am really into this 10 pounds by summer group thing(so much fun!) and I paid bow-coo (don't know how you spell that stupid word so I spelled it "foneticly" - lol)bucks for a personal trainer so I will NOT be "bad" again for a long long long time. I also celebrated because so far we are fairly sure I don't have cancer. Since I don't drink, a Mr. Pibb and burrito was the next best thing. <~~ freaking lame excuse

Hey - welcome Ronni and Masm and Haymas!! If I forget to welcome anyone, please don't feel left out! I am a really blonde brunette!!

See you tomorrow for the weigh-in!!
