Hey Mary Ann! Thank you so much but today's events have been pushed back. And such is life and will explain below. Keep us uplifted though as it's still going to happen

Yesterday was DHs graduation and we were so proud of him. He's been in school for 2 years and got his associates and will continue for the bachelor degree in March. We were, of course, the loudest when they called his name  DD said, when it was quiet, 'YAY Daddy!'...it was hysterical to say the least. Made my first batch of mostaccioli and it turned out So Good, thank goodness. We have a few family members over and my good friends who got him monogrammed drinking glasses which he absolutely LOVED. Was like a kid on Christmas morning 8)

Our holiday celebration at the Hawks game was great but can't believe I organized everything and didn't eat at all  I was so sick yesterday morning as I drank but nothing on my stomach. Felt better as the day went on but man do I need some really good rest right now. Worked half day and planned on working out but my body didn't agree. Obviously didn't eat too good yesterday but I'm not worried about it right now as I need to regroup.

The adoption was pushed back due to fingerprints not being legible. We will find out if he has to be re-finger printed or not in the next week or so. As a result, court was pushed back to 1.7.11. Our attorney, however, said that she's not sure that the state will get back by then so we shall see. Another hurry up and wait deal. Yesterday I spoke with the hiring manager and she plans to make a decision the coming Monday so we'll see how that goes. The funny thing is that a friend and I have interviewed for the same position. May be a little uncomfortable for me if she gets it and I don't but that is human nature and I'd be happy for her ultimatly. Will keep you guys posted on that; just not feeling as optimistic as I did even though she did say that I'm one of her top runners.

Here goes documenting yesterday's meal. Not sure what's going on today so will wait so that I won't have to update anything later. Wishing you all a Fantabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend! :D

Hi Wanda, sorry to hear you've not been feeling great. Hope that energy is back today and you can get to your class. That always gives me extra energy. Glad that your DH had his celebration!! I'm sure the adoption will happen soon and such is life with the delay. Some things we can't control.

Is your weight still at 126 ish? Just curious because I know how hard you worked to get there and remember you getting to goal back in the summer. I look forward to that day as well. I hope you have a wonderful chilaxing weekend. DH is going to a party tonight with some friends of him and I'm staying home with the kids. I plan to have a girls chick-flick night and watch 'Eat, Pray, Love' with Julia Roberts. 8) Maybe I'll have some black bean brownies!!

Take care of you today and talk to you soon.

Hey Wanda,

Sorry about the hold-up in the adoption. No matter when it legally happens-he is her father now and has been for a long time!

I hope you and your family have a great time during the Holidays-I am looking forward to hearing about your New Year's Eve Cocktails!

Take care-

Hey Lisa! So I didn't have energy Fri-Sun to do anything so just chilled however it was mostly due to a very busy weekend. Was actually weighed last Wednesday at 128 on the gym scale however when I got on my scale yesterday, it read 131  I wrote in your journal on the weight gain so won't repeat here but...head up

Hi Mary Ann and thank you for your words regarding the adoption. We found out yesterday that he will indeed have to be re-finger printed so next week's court date is out the window but as you said, he's her father either way. Left you a message in your journal too so speak with you soon and if not, Happy New Year and Cheers 8)

I haven't been in here for over a week so won't even try to recall what I ate. Know that it was mostly Not good but not all bad either. Already got in 3 days of working out this week so will just keep on truckin'. New Years Day for my family is bigger eating than TG or Christmas but know that it will be the 'final' feast. Then we begin the 'Biggest Loser Challenge' with my gf on 1.3.11. Hoping this will keep my focus until it ends in May. While I know I won't win the challenge as I don't have lots to lose, i'm looking forward to being accountable for it and having a group behind me. Not that you all don't count but they are physically here with me however I foresee this being a loner deal as we're all at different weights and have different goals. It's a $25 buy in but worth it!

There is a woman in my office that puts together a Ladies Night for us so we're going to see White Christmas today. Dinner before then the play so looking forward to a nice evening. Even though i'm on vacation this week, I decided to work since I had to be downtown for this; i'll rollover this day for next year. Going to get a second class in this evening before it all so won't feel so horrible that I won't get another workout in for the remainder of the week. What I may do is go with DH to his gym as they have a pool and sauna I would enjoy. DH doesn't swim but I'd love to do that while he lifts; and might I say his chest and arms are looking pretty damn good these days  He's always been thin and fit but he's tones and bulked up a little bit and my likey!

With this I shall close. I hope to get in here the rest of the week but if not, i'm wishing you all a Happy & Safe New Year!! Sending all my love to each of you

12.28.10
b-short rib, eggs, cup of coffee, non dairy creamer, equal 4
s-popcorn
l-chipotle chicken salad, cheese, pinto beans, tomatilla, guac
s-popcorn
d-italian village vivere terra e mare (jumbo lump crab cake & wagyu beef)
ct-red wine
Exercise: Kickin' Core Ball 55mins, BodyFit 45mins

Hi Wanda, you are too funny! I wish my DH would go to the gym with me, but hardly likely with his physical job and 2 little kids at home. :?

Sounds like you are doing well and you will get those 3 1bs off, as I will, next week. Enjoy ladies night. Sounds wonderful!

Cheers Ladies to the New Year!!

Lisa, Tammy & Maureen thank you all for being you and supporting me on this journey! You are the Bestest and so happy to have you all in my corner no matter what :D

Chessie SO happy to hear from you; I was worried but prayed all was well! I didn't get an envelope but will be looking for sure  Smoochezz

So today marked the beginning of the 'Biggest Loser 2011 Challenge' with the girls  While I know why the scale read 132.2lbs, I didn't like it. I Really enjoyed myself over the holiday but I'm alright with where I am and happy it actually wasn't higher. Already today go back on the horse but didn't do P1. My family (DH, DD & sil) completely support me on this journey but they said they will NOT allow P1 to happen unless it is truly a necessity  Today I can laugh at that but yesterday was I pissed  All I need to do is change my food choices as I don't have 'cravings' for things, I'm just eating what's around. Breakfast was missed due to a workout and was trying to wait for DH to return from his to eat lunch but still at P2 like menu for the day. It's a process and I know now what it is I need to do before it gets out of control.

I am working from home so will enter my menu for the day. Will attempt to either write down what I'm eating or come in here to document for accountability. We will weigh in weekly on Friday, which works for me, so will try to get back on my eating pattern and working out to maintain. Wishing you all a Marvelous Monday and sending my love 8) :D

1.3.11
b-nothing
l-turkey sandwich on wheat bread, mustard, mayo 1tsp, ff cheese, chips 2oz
d-lean beef & veggie spaghetti, slice of garlic bread
s-cookie dough milkshake, brownie/cookie 1/2
Exercise: Zumba 60mins (2 days in a row I got this class which is my fav :D )

Hey Wanda, You don't have much to lose so you don't need P1. Sounds like you have a good menu going on. I had a great day on P1 and enjoyed Zumba today and yesterday too. :D Tomorrow I'm going to a new spinning class at the new gym... excited!!

Hi Wanda,

I made it through the holidays with no real damage....but the fall...was another story. I put on about 5 or 6 pounds and it took about 6 weeks to get rid of them on PII. I am hoping to stay the same or lose a few more pounds, but I am not going to push for anything.

Take care-
