LOL....Wiley, I must say, I have to second Jams on that....

Hope all is well. We went and came from FL, just to get a cold vacation w. leather jackets. Not my idea of a sunny warm place. Next time....

Food is OK with me, just wish it would be a FASTER process. Don't we all? :-)

Glad your heels are better, no fun to have pain.

Got on my bike yesterday and it felt soooooo good. Snow is still on the ground but streets are dry and the weather has been in the 40s. Older boyman had his wisdom teeth removed today so playing nurse. Love having him home from college this week-we are both on break. Continuing to do yoga, paddle and caring for the heel. Hope to get running again soon.

Still here, still busy but working it as always. I must. Trying to stay off sugar and white flour but at times it still has power over me. Heading to teach my undergrads on campus at a city school. Heel is sore after paddle last night. Season ends next week and then I am hoping to get running, biking and even swimming.

Thanks Rox!
Today is my crazy day at work. I teach 3 undergrad classes and two of them are on campus of a city elementary school. No students there today because of Superintendent's conference day so I let the teacher candidates out a little early. Forgot to bring my yogurt and banana so skipped breakfast and by lunch I was starved. Just ate a whole wheat sandwich w/tuna. Feel much better now. Diet Dr.P as my dessert!
Dinner will be a large salad with protein and snacks will be fruit. Power vinyasa yoga later for exercise.

Good Morning! Feeling tired today. Have a ton of grading and paperwork to do but not teaching any classes today. Platform tennis at 1 and then going to go out later tonight w/ hubby and girlfriend to a small Karaoke bar. Its just fun to sing and not know anyone. Continue my search for a low calorie cocktail. SF iced tea and vodka or red wine(cab) have been the choice of late . Food was on track yesterday.
Today:
B- yogurt and apple
S-salsa and ww pita
L-salad w/ protein
D-hoping beef but not sure yet

Wiley

My low cal alcoholic bev of choice is white wine spritzer. Still get the wine, the soda bubbles feel refreshing and I suspect they help push the alchohol through the blood/brain barrier faster. I.e. a low cal but quick buzz. Poor man's champagne.

Let me know if you try it if it works for you.

Cheers

Thanks Judi-I like that idea although I have moved to red wine instead of white to be more SBDish. Just need to find SF mixers. I like light cranberry juice, seltzer, vodka and lime too. I only have two(three on a wilder night) drinks so it adds up quickly as empty calories.

Actually, red wine spritzers are great too. SF mixers....hmmmm. There is a sf/low cal tonic version ( w gin and lime); most mixers are full of sugar, and even natural juice has some of its own. I think there are some low cal (but not sf) juices out there to consider as mixers. If I drink, I usually order a Grey Goose vodka straight up, chilled, w lemon peel, it doesn't taste as harsh as most unmixed alcohol and no hangover headache. Learned about this, believe it or not, from Howard Stern, whose favorite drink it is. Advantage is, since it's pure alcohol, you drink it more slowly so it lasts longer and decreases the empy drink calories from extra drinks. Although, from time to time, what's life if you don't have a little fun and let loose once in a while?.... :-)

Working on variety this week.
I tend to get stuck in the same foods hamster wheel where I always seem to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch. I begin to eat and not even notice what I am eating. I need to be more present and even during my craziest days enjoy food more and stop thinking about wanting unhealthy choices. It is a mind game.
B-2 eggs
Banana
1 slice of WW toast
s-dried apricots
L-salad
Dinner unknown
