this morning decided to make some hummus and used roasted peppers. i used
1 can chickpeas
2 T. olive oil
2 T tahini ( I really can't taste the difference now that i am adding this) I didn't used to
1/2 of fresh lemon (juice only)
1 garlic clove
1 roasted pepper in a jar
this is when I got in trouble.,. did not read the ingredients and it says sugar ... : (
can I still have this?
I am on day 6 of ph 1 and have lost 5 pounds total. I don't want to stall the weight loss.
please advise...... next time i will take the time to roast my own.

Just to be clear, the sugar is in the jar of roasted peppers - is that right? There's probably very little sugar there, and most of that will go away if you drain and rinse the peppers, so I wouldn't worry about it.
