so excited dh did dishes yesterday so i have pans to make my eggs and bacon... oh happy day!!! It really did make a diff not having it yesterday, its almost like waking up on the wrong side of the bed for me. Just need to chop the onion tonight. My back is still really hurting, gonna see dr and try to get another mri, last one was oct 09, I know something has changed. It sucks because i have really good weeks, and then it all caves and the pain sets in.
tomorrow is weigh in day, I do hope it is down, i have been at the same weight for a bit now, and with so much to loose i didn't expect a stall this soon, but I will get through this because i do feel better (except the back pain)

b: bacon, eggs, garlic, cheese, milk
s: nuts
l: chicken ceaser salad
D: dinner was kindof a disaster. we went to a new restaurant, and they have 5 dinner selections, all breaded, and 5 burgers, only salad they have is a dinner salad. So i got a burger with salad instead of fries. Shoulda ate the burger w/o the bun, but didn't. did end up with fries also, so had some of those. As far as burgers go I have had better and I should have eaten a bit better but i didn't and i am not going to beat myself up over it, i am going to move on. Just scared of the scale tomorrow,
Part of me wants it to be down, but then 2 things will happen 1) i will think... i can cheat a bit more and then i will get completely off track 2) I can cheat every now and then and i will do total damage. So the other part of me wants it to be up, just 0.5lbs so i will learn my lesson and learn to eat things that are not completely healthy in a healthier way
Tomorrow will tell

Weight is up to 239.5, I was hoping for only a .5 pound gain but that is ok, i did do a lot of weight lifting this week so maybe it is muscle (fingers crossed) and i do need to drink more water. I guess it is more trial and error when eating and learning what your body hangs on to.
The good news is that this set back is not bringing me down, just going to help me to work harder and yes drink more water.

Today was a weird day, slept in which was nice, dog didn't wake me up :D although now she is insisting on putting her head on laptop, ear is on the tab/enter button, and every time i hit up near her ear she flinches, so much fun....

dh made a buffalo chicken pizza for dinner, had a w/w boboli, was good, ate half of it, shouldn't have but oh well, didn't really eat much
Got a lot of paperwork done today that i have been thinking i didn't have time to do, and then if only takes like 5 min to do. hate that. tomorrow need to pay some bills, with money we dont really have.... woohoo....

Stress is building up, although i can now say that my work stress is due to the dr i work for retiring, and going to be having a retiring navy dr stepping in. Lots of changes, and trying to get a lot done before this all happens. The most frustrating part.. the letter that was sent out on tuesday, people started calling yesterday freaking out, the letter says it all, but they don't read it. I do understand that they need to call and talk to someone, but with over 600patients, do we need to do this with all of them. It is hard for us for the dr to retire and leave, and we are trying to get things done, and when they keep calling, we have to rehash all that and it makes it hard. I guess I didn't realize that this would be as stressfull as it is, and we still have till middle of october till new dr starts.. then more stress comes.

With all the stress my weight hasn't changed, and that is frustrating, although i really haven't done more then watch my eating, i do need to go to the gym. Before when i made this change i was going to curves 3x/wk so that is my goal. to go to the gym 3x/wk

This am weight was down to 236.5 lbs. Went out to dinner, really didn't want salad and nothing else sounded good either, so had the hot chicken burger, grilled chicken breast, hot sauce, blue cheese, and the normal burger stuff. Was really good and spicy.. YUMMY, got sick and have learned my lesson, but it was ohhh sooo good. we got stuff to make the frozen yogurt in the recipe thread,
used strawberry flavored yogurt, frozen strawberries, vanila flavoring, small amount of sweet and low, small amount of s/f chocolate syrup, f/f 1/2&1/2 to get blender to work, and a banana. tasted good before it went into ic maker, so will see how it turnes out after frozen.
My dog has been licking/biting her right back leg for a few days now and it is now really red and inflammed. looked at a few sites and they said to try allergy meds, which makes sense she started this behavior when my allergies flared up, So i gave her 1/2 of my pill, probably too much for a lab/pit mix, oh well she may at least sleep tonight.

was a bad night last night, woke up with the worst heart burn, thought i was having a gallbladder attack or something. Kept waking up when the dog would start licking her hurt foot. weight was down to 234.5.
went to the pet store and got the dog a e-collar, the collar of shame. was funny she was soo mad at me when i put it on, i was getting the look of death from her. she kept running into things and getting stuck on things. but the foot is starting to look better already.

Last night was interesting. dh woke me up about 1am and told me he was going to make a lot of noise, i was like why, guess the water heater leaked and water was all in the laundry room and kitchen, good thing though due to the low spots that we have the water traveled away from the carpeting and did not get under the table or the stove. So i got up and helped him clean up the mess, went back to bed about an hour later. So had to take a cold shower this am, i think that was the shortest shower i have ever had.

Thank you for stopping by. Love the encouragement :D I do eat real bacon, i have had some ham here and there, but real bacon is my weakness. I think when i did s/b the first time, i was always eating turkey bacon and it kinda makes me sick now. So that is one of my lil things i do.

My co worker who has been gone for like ever (only 2 weeks but feels like ever) said she really notices the difference since she hasn't seen me in awhile. That was cool. I do notice my jeans fit better then when i last wore them in may so that is a bonus.

still 234.5 so i'm happy, I'm always happy when it doesn't go up that is always a small victory.
15lbs till my goal of 219.5lbs. I do really need to go to the gym. all my stress is starting to take a toll on may pain, and i know that going to the gym will help, and meeting people will help my stress also.

Off to work

Have to go to grocery store tomorrow, haven't been in week and half. longest i have gone since starting this way of life.

Went to the vet today and she has dermatitis and an infection from licking/biting skin. So she is on prednisone and antibiotics.

The Smay pizza dough is really good. I've tried it both on the grill and in the oven and still have some in the freezer from my last batch. Make sure you make a really interesting salad to go with, so you don't get carried away with the pizza serving and don't limit salads to lettuce based salads or you'll find yourself getting bored. You mentioned liking pictures...Kalyn's kitchen is a great website for pictures and some excellent ideas.

Check her out if you haven't yet.
