About the best approximation of a vanilla milkshake I've tried is a lot of ice, FFmilk (about a cup), sweetener, and vanilla extract. Blend it like mad, until it thickens, and drink it. It's ok.

I made a delicious milkshake tonight for Ph.2-ers. 2 cups of skim milk, a tsp. of vanilla, 2 cardoman seeds, a pack of Sweet n' Low, 2 small peaches, and 2 cups of ice--in a blender until smooth. It is a pale pink color, frothy and just a neat taste.

I've been doing this really easy one for dessert. I just put a bunch of ice cubes in the blender, pour enough 1% milk to go an inch or so over the top. I add some splenda, vanilla ( I added coconut extract with vanilla last night) and two big spoonfuls of really good cocoa ( I like Green and Black's). Puree really well and pour in tall glasses you kept cold in the freezer. It's been really hot here so it is refreshing and amazingly delish. My husband and I call it "chocolate delivery system" lol

This is one I eat most mornings.

1/3 peeled cucumber
1/2 small avacado
juice of 1/2 lemon
juice of 1/2 large or 1 small grapefruit
1/3 can coconut milk -- probably could substitute with yogurt, ricotta, etc.
small handful of spinach leaves

Blend. It's surprisingly good. The grapefruit juice provides just enough sweetness to make it quite pleasant. The individual tastes of the avacado, cuke and spinach all disappear into green goodness.

Another I like a lot:
1 banana
1 pear
sm handful of spinach or swiss chard or even kale
water to cover -- tho for the protein you might use some or all milk or yogurt, or ricotta as well as the water

Blend. Quite delicious. Both of these are outstanding ways to get VEGETABLES inside you! :D

Hi I have made this smoothie in the morning but now want to make it for phase 1

Green Smoothie — 1 cup baby spinach, 1 cup kale, 1 pear, 1 ½ cup of orange juice, and 1 frozen banana.

I made it with strawberry's an almond milk instead of a pear and oj, I added about 1/4 cup of plain vanilla and a little splenda
beside taking the fruit out for phase 1 is the almond milk okay to use for ph 1

or what would you do to make it okay for ph1

thank you
