Day 1:
B: 2 hb eggs v8
S: celery w/laughing cow lite
3 mile run
L: salad w/chicken, tomato, cucumber, olive, olive oil based dressing
S: almonds
D: grilled chicken, steamed zucchini
S: ricotta cream

Day 2:
B: 2 hb eggs v8
S: almonds
L: seared tuna, roasted veg, salad w/balsamic vinagrette
S: FF Cottage cheese & cinnamon
D: grilled chicken, grilled zucchini
S: ricotta cream

Today is day 3... planning another 3 mile run
B: 2 hb eggs v8
S: Pumpkin seeds and almonds
3 mile run
L: baked fish w/veggies, salad
S: 1 hb egg
D: salad w/grilled chicken, ff feta, olives, tomatoes, onion, italian dressing
S: sf jello

Day 4:
B: 2 hb eggs and V8
S: celery 2/laughing cow lite cheese
3 mile run (surprisingly easier than yesterdays)
L: salad w/tofu, mixed greens, onions, olives, balsalmic, sprouts, cucumbers
S: hb egg and dill pickles
D: grilled chicken and asparagus
S: sf jello

Day 5:
B: 2 egg omlette w/spinach and mushrooms
S: string cheese and V8
L: mixed greens salad and non-fat greek yogurt w/splenda and cinnamon and almonds (Y-U-M)
D: grilled chicken and steamed cauliflower
S: ricotta creme dessert

I'm doing good, I feel good and my clothes are looser. I went grocery shopping today and when I walked by the bread isle (mind you, I walked BY it, not DOWN it) I could smell the bread... Now this is wierd because it wasn't bakery bread, it was just regular bagged bread and english muffins, etc... I took a deep breath and said, "One more week. One more week."... This really surprised me because I never really have been a big bread eater... I prefer wraps to sandwiches anyday, although I do enjoy a whole wheat roll or pita once in a while with my salad. I think I'm going to read the P2 section of the book now to prepare for next week when I go grocery shopping for the beginning of phase 2. I know I have to add in grains and fruits slowly but I need to pay closer attention to the recommended way to reintroduce them... :)

Day 6-10:

On Plan, believe it! :D (and had a 3 mile run on day 10)

Though I do need to figure out a way to drink more H2O on the weekends... I seem to slack off in that department when I'm not at work... :(

Day 11:
B: 2 HB Eggs, V8
S: ff cottage cheese
L: salad w/chicken, olives, tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, olive oil based dressing YUM
S: almonds
D: grilled chicken breast, salad w/oil and vinegar, steamed cauliflower

Day 12:
B: sliced tomatoes w/spinach & mushroom omlette
S: ff greek yogurt w/cinnamon & splenda
3 mile run
L: salad w/ff feta, olives, chicken
S: Almonds w/V8
D: spaghetti squash w/meatballs and sauce; brusselsprouts

Phase 2 begins today!!! Decided to do an apple a day, and keep track of what i'm pairing it with and when...

P2 D1:
B: 2 hb eggs, v8, coffe w/skim & splenda
S: Golden Delicious Apple w/ff cottage cheese, splenda & cinnamon 11:30 PM
L: salad w/egg, turkey bacon, turkey, olives, lf cheese, cucumbers - the apple did not make me extra hungry :)
3 mile run today! - not too hard
S: Almonds
D: salad w/grilled chicken, peppers, tomatoes, salsa, cucumbers & olives
Dessert: sf jello pudding cup - YUMMY! :D

L: chicken curry, salad w/tomatoes, shredded carrots, italian dressing
S: lc cheese w/celery
D: chicken w/tomato sauce & melted cheese stick (ala parm); spaghetti squash
S: sf jello pudding

P2 Day3:
B: 1 hb egg, tomatoes, coffee
S: Gala apple w/almonds, v8
L: salad w/grilled chicken, tomatoes, artichokes, capers, italian dressing
S: small salad w/a few almonds
3 mile run
D: spaghetti squash, chicken w/tomato sauce & melted cheese stick
S: sf jello pudding

P2 Day4:
down 1/2 lb!!!
B: 1 hb egg, v8, sf iced tea
S: red delicious pple w/ ff cottage cheese, splenda, cinnamon 10:30 AM

I've noticed that I'm a bit hungrier for a snack when I only eat 1 egg in the morning... I think that's good, because I've been eating a snack LATE and in turn eating lunch REALLY LATE... hopefully this will work out better for me!
L: small salad w/grilled chicken, italian dressing, ff greek yogurt w/cinnamon & splenda & almonds & peanuts - this was more like a 'i don't have time to eat lunch so I'll eat whatever I have here in the office that's SBD friendly"... I've certainly had my dairy for the day 8)
S: No snack
D: salad w/grilled chicken, olives, tomatoes, red onion, ff feta, italian dressing
D: sf jello pudding

4 mile run
L: veggie salad w/grilled chicken
Going to happy hour today with the girls!! Looking forward to it!
S: No snack, but did have some wine at HH ;)
D: broiled fish, steamed veggies, salad
D: skipped dessert today

P2 Day 6:
B: ff greek yogurt w/splenda & cinnamon
S: celery, v8
L: chili w/salad and skim cheese stick
s: apple w/lf laughing cow cheese
D:steamed zucchini w/grilled chicken breast, white wine
Dessert: sf popsicle

I weighed myself today... Still haven't busted through the 180's but am SO CLOSE!!!! Here's hoping Monday morning I've broken through, fingers crossed!

P2 Day 8 - no change in weight this week... adding a grain this week... :)

L: salad w/turkey bacon, turkey, cucumbers, shredded carrots, 1 hb egg, lc lite cheese, balsalmic vinagrette
S: almonds
3 mile run
D: Salsa Chicken w/cauliflower

Didn't actually get a grain in today :(

Hi Jos!

I noticed that you and I are in about the same place, so I thought that I would say hi :) I am on day 4 of Phase 2 and eating one fruit and one starch daily. So excited to be in Phase 2 and have fruit again! It's kind of fun to plan the meals and decide where to best place each new addition....like...do I want a WW bagel for breakfast or would it mean more to have WW penne with chicken for dinner? What new veggies or ways of cooking veggies can I find? How should I use those leftovers? You seem to have a great meal plan and you seem to stick to it really well. I applaud you!

Somehow I managed to not eat a veggie last night, and eat too much pasta :( I'm running 4 miles tonight though, so maybe the extra carbs from the ww pasta will help out in the energy department, let's hope so!!!

P2 Day 10:

S: ff cottage cheese w/sliced apples and cinnamon
L: salad w/grilled chicken

B: V8, fresh sliced fruit salad, greek yogurt w/cinnamon & splenda
S: 1 hb egg
L: salmon & tuna sushi, (brown rice as my grain for the day) small salad
S: 6 jordan almonds, string cheese, a few (like, literally 10) m&ms - clearly not a vegetable :oops:
D: salad w/grilled chicken, ff feta, italian dressing, cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers
D: sf popsicle

Okay, I ate some junkfood today. Not a lot by any means, but I did it... I'm not going to beat myself up about it, it wasn't too bad, (and the almonds provided some extra protein so I think it's kept me from having that "I NEED MORE SUGAR/FOOD NOW" feeling...) I'm giving the thumbs up to jordan almonds for a real sweet fix. They really did the trick for me today!

Holding steady at 180... don't know what's going on with TOM... I'm sure I'm retaining water though... This changed way of eating has definately mixed up my body...

P2 Day 15:

S: almonds
D: steak, broccoli, small salad brown rice

Not horrible, but not really exactly on plan... I had some non-whole grain breads this weekend and non whole wheat pasta, also had some full fat cheese, but I did step on the scale and see a loss...

P2 Day 22
B: 2 hb eggs, v8
S: celery w/lc cheese
L: brown rice sushi (tuna and salmon w/brown rice); small salad w/balsalmic
S: peach w/almonds
5 mile run
D: grilled chicken, steamed zucchini, pasta
S: sf mousse cup

P2 Day 23
B: 2hb eggs, v8, coffee w/skim & splenda
S: peach w/ff cottage cheese
L: salad w/grilled chicken, onion, cucumber, tomato, turnip, pickle, feta, black olives & dressing; ww pita w/spicy sauce
S: almonds & dried fruit
D: salad w/grilled chicken, salsa, cucumbers, zucchini, tomato
D: sf pudding w/apple
