It was alright...Ya, I put a little Agave Nectar in it. Very small amount. It was edible.

Look back to posts where RedRox and I were discussing...

Thx Chef K :D

First day of Phase 2...

Guess I'll be sitting in Phase 2 for a while until I reach my goal!

B - 1/2 cup of Fiber One with a drop of Agave Nectar and skim milk, 1 egg scramble with mushrooms and spinach
S - Plain yogurt with sugar free syrup (shared with my daughter) and 1 square of Endangered Species dark chocolate with hazlenuts (had to have just a piece)
L - Salad with celery, lf laughing cow cheese, red bean mash
S - Beach brownie
D - Fillet Mignon with green beans, pine nuts and mozzarella - Red Wine - YUM
S - Red Wine - Yum

Today went pretty good. I only ate one square of dark chocolate and to my surprise I didn't have to have another! It was really good. :D I'm sipping on my second glass of red wine right now. Very good - thx for the recommendation RedRox.

Today was a beautiful day... Only exercise was a stroll around the block after dinner. I would have liked to take a long walk after putting the kids to bed but instead I'm sitting here sipping wine, watching Desperate Housewives and typing in my journal.

I weighed in today at 171! :D I've lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks, very happy about this. I wonder if its possible to get into the 130's by Christmas --- that would be aprox. 40 pounds! I'm planning a trip to Vegas with some girlfriends in 2011...hoping to be in the 120's by that time.

Have a wonderful night everyone!

Today was an out of wack day for me. :(

B - Fiber one - ff plain yogurt with sf maple syrup - V8
S - lf String Cheese
L - Kyan's red bean mash and 2 eggs
S - no snack
D - Chicken Enchilada Stew and small salad -
S - NSA Fudgsicle

I didn't eat enough vegetables today... :( My mind was on some personal things going on in my life so I just didn't care to much. Hey, but at least I stayed beachy just didn't do everything how I should have.

I will not make the dinner again! My husband buys everything in medium or hot. I just can't handle it! Salsa, enchilada sauce...you name it, he likes it spicy! My stomach could not handle dinner tonight. My mouth was on fire  :!: :!: :!: I then ended up in the bathroom for a while... :x not happy about the dinner tonight! I guess my stomach just wasn't ready for it. I'll be taking it much easier tomorrow... :|

I'm ready for bed soon...Have a good night all!

B - Fiber One - V8 - decaf coffee
S - ff plain yogurt with sf maple syrup
L - chicken salad
S - string cheese
D - Big Salad
S - NSA Fudgsicle

Today was ok... I did cheat a couple times. I took a very tiny about and inch square bite of my daughters french toast sticks at breakfast and grilled cheese at lunch. Didn't care that much for the french toast but the grilled cheese tasted really good. She didn't eat all of either and normally I would have ate the rest for her. I threw it in the garbage! That was my slip up today. :x

I walked about a mile tonight and did a pilates video this afternoon.

I feel pretty 'blah' about some personal issues right now. Normally, I would make brownies or head for ice cream but instead I ate a NSA Fudgsicle. :|

Don't beat yourself up about the cheats. Move on and make today a cleaner day!

I'm a stress eater, and staying home with a 1 and 3 year old gives me lots of stress. I can't imagine dealing with 3 little ones! Just yesterday I had a ton of things to do, and we had friends coming over for dinner. The two little buggers were running a great campaign for brattiest kids of the year. My 3 year old wanted to see how many times he could get put in time out, and my baby girl surgically attached herself to me and would lay on the floor and throw a tantrum if I didn't let her drag me around wherever she wanted to go... I wanted to stress eat. I wanted crap food. I gave in and had 1 square of dark chocolate, because I knew that of all the choices I had, it was the best. I just wasn't eating it for the right reason. I want to indulge in my dark chocolate as a treat, not as therapy! It's a hard habit to break.

I'm hooked on grilled cheese right now. I take a thinbun and use the insides as the outside and butter them with Smart Balance, and then just use a plain old slice of American cheese in the center and cook it till it's nice and crispy. It tastes amazingly good! I've had it two days in a row now with taco soup. There's just something about grilled cheese. It's such a comfort food to me.

Hope you are feeling better soon, and the blah goes away! You're doing great at changing how you eat!!

That grilled cheese sounds yummy SMAY...I'll try it when I introduce more grains in my diet. I'm going to intro slowly as my chicken enchilada stew I made the other night didn't agree with me at all. Wasn't a grain but it was something different. Not fun  Sorry your kids were not behaving for you. Sounds like you had a good dinner. Yes, I am a stress eater also... I'm not fretting about my very minute cheats yesterday. Hey, I could have ate an entire fattening grilled cheese sandwich or something.

Today was stressful for me but I made it. I didn't necessarily eat exactly how I was supposed to eat but everything was beachy.

B - Fiber One - V8 - Decaf Coffee
S - lf String Cheese
L - 2 egg scramble with spinach and mushrooms
S - NSA fudgsicle
D - Salad, cottage cheese
S - NSA Fudgsicle, sf cool whip, natural peanut butter

I didn't get home until after 7 tonight...would have liked to cook salmon or chicken but didn't have time.

I'm excited that I'm scheduling a weekend getaway with friends in Portland, Oregon. Can't wait to get out of dodge! :D This mama needs a break...I just had 2 babies in a row. Men just don't understand!!! I need a BREAK!!!

Watching the NFL draft right now...

I'd really like to open a bottle of wine right now...I'll just wait until tomorrow night. :|

B - Mock Belgian Waffle - V8 - Decaf Coffee
S - No snack - busy busy
L - Chicken Salad with small amount of chili
S - Beachy Brownie
D - Fiber One Cereal - V8

I was spring cleaning today! Also went to the gym today. Glad not a lot of people were there.

We had high winds and something blew over and hit our roof. Some shingles blew off and big pieces were flapping on the house. My husband had to get on the roof and nail it down because it was super loud when the wind blew it around. Thinking it was from construction from new houses in our area. Dang windy city I live in!
