Figured I'd update. I still check in on the forum and I know reading success stories helped me immensely.
I'm down to 170lbs. I've been this weight for about a month now. I'm finding it pretty easy to maintain and while I've given myself treats here and there, I've never over done it and I've always gotten right back on track.
When I started all this, I wanted to get down to 180lbs. While I was happy there, I knew I could do better. I started exercising and pushing myself to get in better shape. Being lighter was nice but I wanted to be in decent physical shape. Once I got to 170 I was thrilled but still, I knew I could be better. So I've been weight training and incorporating some of the p90x cardio type routines into my workouts. Its pretty grueling but its such an awesome feeling to get through them and that soreness the next day is kind of a badge of honor. My goal now is to get into the best shape I've ever been in. I'm no longer trying to lose weight but I am trying to cut the fat I have left. If this ends up making me lighter, fine but if not I'm fine with that too.
Even though my goals have changed, my eating habits have not. I've really decided to make this a real lifestyle change and I feel very good about it.
