I've lived in Seattle and then in UK, now currenlty located here in Helsinki.
It's mid-September and can you believe it guys, it's been 50F and below!
Freezing! Oh well, I hope the cold weather will burn some extra calories as I'm trying to keep warm!

Hi everyone - another newbie - but this time from Australia - day four in Phase 1 - going really well lost 3 kilo in 4 days which is about 6lbs i think - nice to chat with other people around the place. My brother put me onto this diet he lost 18 kilo so 36lbs and he has stuck to it for about 8 months so i am impressed. Looking forward to chatting with others as we go. I am from Adelaide and i am 53 and looking to lose about 28lbs never done it before - usually i would lose a few kilos and get disallusioned because it would take 3 weeks to do that. I was very happy when i got on the scales this morning felt like doing a dance.

Hi 'aussie' welcome to SBD I have always had trouble losing weight and I am coming up to my 50th birthday so I figured I better try it now. I am very happy with the results so far. 10 pounds in about 7 weeks. I think thats reasonable. I like this forum which allows us to support each other and help keep us going. Good Luck
