6/17/09 - 194.6

1st day of TOM

My cycle is getting a little shorter. Yuck!

Still going strong with gym 4 days a week. 45 min on treadmill at 3.6 or 3.7 mph, then stretching, then 30 min. machines or weights. I am doing fairly well with diet - still try to be good most of the time but occasionally let myself slide. Not a full-out binge, just an occasional pizza night, etc.

My sister and I are going to see Dane Cook this weekend. Should be fun! We both need to laugh!

I'm resurrecting my journal to keep track of my food/weight over the next few weeks. I am having a hysterectomy on Dec. 4 and my dr. told me to do some kind of quick weight loss between now and then. Apparently she doesn't like operating on overweight women - go figure! I'm going to try really hard to stick to salads; fruit; whole grains; and Lean Cuisines. NO SUGAR!!!

11/3/09 - 193.6
B - 2 Fiber One blueberry pancakes w/SF syrup
L - Lean Cuisine
S - Apple & granola bar
D - Grilled chicken salad w/FF dressing
D - 2 SF fudgesicles w/skim milk

11/4/09 - 191.6
B - 2 Fiber One blueberry pancakes w/SF syrup
L - Grilled chicken salad w/FF dressing, feta cheese, WW pita chips
S - Orange
D - Jason's Deli - CA club sandwich on WW toast, Baked Lays
D - 1 Baby Ruth fun size bar, skim milk

11/5/09 - 190.8
B - Fiber One cereal w/skim milk
L - Grilled fish, rice, beans, cole slaw (Ann's)
S - Granola bar, WW pita chips, snacked on nuts
D - Lean Cuisine, WW pita chips
D - Skim milk

I just looked back at the beginning of this year and I was 227! OMG!!! I didn't know I'd lost 37 lb. this year. I am so up and down, I can't even keep track. Getting the hysterectomy is going to help me lose weight (I hope). I am anemic and have fibroids the size of tennis balls - my uterus is gonna come out! Yay, no more periods!!!

S - pita chips, honey roasted almonds
D - fish, brown rice, veggies, corn, about 3 of Jason's boneless BBQ wings - AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!
D - skim milk, honey roasted almonds

I am back on P1 and have lost 7 lb. since 12/31. That's pretty good! I am focusing on the positive and not the negative (that I have gained 24 lb. in the past year). It has been a rough year.

Thanks CAC! It's been a long time since I posted on here. I used to be very devoted to SB and lost 50 lb. but gained it all back. Sugar is my enemy and it keeps winning. I love this WOE and I feel better since I got back on it. I have gone ahead to P2 with some brown rice and now looking for a yummy recipe to use up some apples and pears I have stored in the fridge. Last night I made a big pot of Santa Fe soup, it was very good! Once I get back to the gym I will really start seeing some results, I hope.

Acid reflux has not acted up today - let's see how it is after dinner.
Not constipated (yet).
