Gramma, thanks for stopping in for tea and a chat. As always I appreciate your words of wisdom and encouragement. Congrats on making two nights meat/cholesteral free! Now that's Heart Healthy! :D

Mrsj I can just imagine the excitment in your home this weekend. You will give us news after your dd's interview tomorrow. Great there would be no travel involved and focus on education. Fingers crossed.

The Organic black bean chili from a can was not good so I ate very very little last night. Busy at work anyway so I was fine and had good energy. Had some pistacios and a cocktail when I got home.

Sunday shopping trip out of town, Red Lobster

B: 9:30 am Cereal, 1/2 banana, flaxseed, soy milk
S: on the road
L: 1:00 pm Red Lobster, coconut shrimp, scampi, 1 biscuit, salad, broccoli, margarita
S: shopping and on the road home
D: 9:00 pm 1/2 grilled cheese, 1/2 order FF, margarita
S:11:00 pm 1 cocktail, pistachios, Vegan blueberry waffle, peanut butter, sugar free jam

Obviously I made some poor choice in food and drank too much but I had a great day out of town and so regrets. Because I work so much with two jobs, a little "cut loose time" won't kill me.

Life Is Beautiful :D

It's a BEAUTIFUL SUNNY FRIDAY! I feel fantastic today. My skin looks creamier than it has in years. Amazing all the benefits of eating healthy other than weight loss. Have taken more evenings to light a candle and just sit and be still and calm for no less than 30 minutes. I hope all the folks on the Beach are also having a lovely week, regardless of weather! As I always say ... Life Is Beautiful. :D

My co-workers at the restaurant where I work are starting a weight loss competition. One for the gals, one for the guys. Everyone pays in $20. and the winners in each group split the pot. I'm not joining, I've already lost this much weight on my own and the fast weight loss part is over. Not to mention many of the girls are 20 something with very little to lose. Will be great to see everyone making better choices for their meals.

Cambie Honey! Look at you just getting healthier and healthier by the minute  Glad you joined to group despite others weight goals. I've found joining a "team" motivates you to your goal as well as a little competition 8) You don't have to lose as much as they do, just do you Boo and you'll be just fine!!

Let me go back a few posts too. Thank you for the compliment on how I look! But I have to agree with Gramma. You both are ALREADY looking good and healthy Lady so no sighs only "Hey! I'm healthy AND looking good too!!" is what I wanna hear (read ) :D Had to tell Ron on the AA board to keep the big picture in mind and stay focused on that so same thing to you.

Keep us posted on the progress and/or digress...I've got your back  Hugs and Smoochezz :D

Company, what a nice suprise Mrsg. I must clarify that when I wrote "sigh" in a previous post it was a happy, content sigh. Nothing negative I promise. A positive attitude is important as we all know.

The competition at work will be fun like you said, it's not all about the numbers, it's about the walk.

Sticking with my eating program and finding it okay for now. Going to the market tomorrow to restock for more meal variety.

Going to read some more journals.... :D

Today is day 5 of the 8 wk challenge. Weighed in at work and lost NOTHING!
Have stayed on course, recording everything I eat on another website that calculates everything.
Calories are kept between 1200-1500 calories. Fats are low, too low some days. Hard to find that
balance of fats and calories. The cocktails are my downfall. Switching to sugar free red wine and
see if that helps. I like to have one drink in the evening sometimes.

B: Cereal, flaxseed, cinnamon, 1/2 banana, soy milk
S: Coffee
L: Vegan Boca Burger, WW English muffin, steamed broccoli, Romaine salad, water
S: Grapes, water
D: FF refried beans, vegan taco filling, low carb/hifiber tortilla, salsa, romaine salad, water
S: Red Wine, pistacios

Survived Halloween with NO CANDY. Not one bite. Wooohoooo. One holiday down, two to go.

Did great with my food choices this week. Hoping for a weight loss this week of at least two pounds.

Happy Dance, I lost 2 pounds this week....woohoooooooooo.

I'm going to follow this past weeks eating plan with reduced empty carbs (cocktails) repace with one glass of red wine instead.

Goal: Start using the treadmill at the gym no less than three times this week.
