Dry Mouth

Postby FaeQueen » Thu Jul 23, 2009 8:36 pm

No matter how much I drink, I seem to have a dry mouth. Anyone else experience this, and have a solution?

Is it a dry mouth or also a sweet taste/smell to your breath as well? Might be a sign of ketosis so make sure you are getting in all your good carbs from allowed quantities of dairy and beans and minimums of 4.5 cups of veggies a day.

Yeah, now that you mention it, there is a sort of sweet taste. Thanks. I'll be more careful to add in more carbs.

Also read that it might be acidosis caused by a lack of EFA's, so I'm going to start back taking my EFA capsules and eating more foods that have them in it.

I suggest you also add some omega-3 capsule as well, or eat fish rich in omega-3 like salmon.
