Hello all you nurses on this thread and any who aren't

Was catching up on the threads after being away from a computer 2 months and saw Dolphinkiki's recent post. Wanted to comment to her here since I didn't find a journal to comment on-----
Dolphinkiki, Had to laugh when I read your stats. Your 267 wgt at the beginning of SB is my wgt today! I live in the Houston area also. I'm quite a bit older than you, 51 to be exact but we do have common ground here...our location and need to lose lots of us! I started SB in early Jan, this yr, and weighed 345 at the time. Six months into this, I'm free from the foot pain I'd had for 4 yrs and finally able to get started on physical activity.
Just thought I'd drop in and say hi. I have a journal here if you or anyone would like to visit. It's called 'Life Without Potatoes' since potatoes was the hardest for me to give up (I was raised on 'em the way some are raised on beans or rice) and taught that 'taters are a staple to be eaten with almost every meal. Anyhow, I hope you're having a healthy-choices kind of day and look forward to sharing your journey. I also post regularly on Accountability Anyone thread, come visit anytime!
Smiles to all, Gramma Kathy
