I finally cracked open my Smucker's Natural Creamy PB and I took a dive in and I like it! It's not as good as my Skippy, but it's good once you can get past the oil. I refrigerated my jar and it's still oily. I just mixed it up and tasted it. It's good really. I tastes like a creamy roasted peanut...it's not stiff by all means.

Smart Balance Omega 3 has 200 calories per 2 tblspns. Not sure how this compares to all natural brands.

That info doesn't really matter. The ingredients for PB should be peanuts with or without salt. Nothing more.

all the NB I've had - if you turn the jar upside down the oil seems to disperse throughout the jar and doesn't have to be mixed every time.

I have little packets here of 'Justin's Organic Classic Peanut Butter' and 'Justin's Natural Classic Almond Butter'
the ingredients list on the PB is: Organic Dry Roasted Peanuts, Organic Palm Fruit Oil
the ingredients list on the AB is: Dry Roasted Almonds, Organic Palm Fruit Oil
are they ok??

I don't think so. The ingredients should only be the actual nuts and salt if you want salt. The added oil might make it creamier, but it also adds calories. And palm oil is not on the list of foods to enjoy. I think it has a high saturated fat content.

If you're going to eat it anyway, you can eat it during SBD. The reason behind avoiding palm oil is that it's a saturated fat, and adding a lot of oils to foods like peanut butter just increases the calories unnecessarily. But palm oil doesn't cause blood sugar to spike or anything like that, as far as I know. So it's up to you if you want the saturated fat and extra calories before or during SBD. As far as I'm aware it won't affect your overall weight loss.

yes. 2 tblsp will use up your nut/seed allowance. But the only allowed kind is one that has only peanuts and maybe salt on the ingredients list. It's basically just ground peanuts and nothing else added. So without stabilizers, the oils separate over time and need to be stirred back in before using as they are part of the good fats club. So yes PB is allowed in all phases, but not all PBs qualify.

A WOE is a "Way Of Eating." Get it?
Smuckers makes a good natural pb. Only peanuts, and salt in it. Same for Publix band, same ingredients, just as good, only cheaper.

Has anyone ever tried the Naturally More Peanut Butter? I am just wondering if it is ok to have. The only things I can find at the store(wal mart) are Peter-Pan, Jif, and this kind...

hard to say without seeing an ingredients list. If you want the benefits of flax, I would probably just add flaxmeal or flaxoil to other things. It might be ok actually if that is all they are adding to peanuts. I'd just be suspicious until I read an ingredients list. Wal mart doesn't have any kinds that are just peanuts and salt on the ingredients list?

Nope, that's not SBD
Peanuts and salt - only ingredients. Natural peanut butter is how you will find it.
