I have been here before - but since it was a couple of years ago and since I don't remember my password and no longer have the same email address I have re-registered under a new name. My main goal is to become as active as my children (2 ski racers & a swim racer) or at least active enough that they don't run circles around me!
B: 3 eggs, v8
S: cheese stick
L: chicken salad - no dressing
S: nuts
D: noodle free lasagne, italian gr.beans, cucumber salad
S: sugar free. ice cream (if necessary)
I do have one advantage in that I am allergic to cane sugar.... so label reading is already a huge part of my life.

Well not too bad so far... will be jumping to ph.2 early as I don't have cravings but need to add wheat on those days when I am trying to keep up to my kids.

So yesterday my lunch was not so great... I wasn't feeling well and just had some ww crispbread w/light crm cheese for lunch. No veggies.. but after 3 tylenol and a long nap I was feeling better so we had a giant salad for lunch. Going to the menu section today to find some other alternatives for cooking... need to make some bean cake for sure! It has been 1 week now and there is only 1 week to go before I will have fruit.

Just got home from work - with a quick stop @ the grocery store for some extra veggies... decided to find the recipe for bean cake as I think this will be my snacks tomorrow... stumbled on a few other recipes I am anxious to try. So far everything is going quite well.... I did not weigh myself when I started ph1. decided I would weigh myself when I started ph.2 and go from there.... especially since I just came back from a vacation and didn't want to know what the damages were.

Well I definately seem to have some commitment issues here... My main conflict is DH's referring to my "wierd"diet all the time... but hey I will get there eventually. I have not weighed myself lately... but my pants are little tight which although not good is to be some what expected after xmas. Right now my goal is to get my head in the game again... and when I get pd on the 7th to jump back in.... hopefully this time I will get it right...
I do not have food cravings so I will just start in ph2. This is in part because my life is nuts and I will need more choices for lunches and snacks as all of my kids are in organized sports making life nutty...
Well here goes.... meal planning for Next week.... then shopping lists

Thanks Laiy - I sort of see this like quitting smoking.... you only lose if you quit trying...
That said my entire family has the FLU!!!!! ugh... it was bad enough when just the oldest one was sick but now the other 2 are as well... and of course I am too... (why is it that my hubby never seems to fall ill)
We are in the midst of using up old stock from our freezers and that means some definite compromises... basically it means I'm cooking what I find (at least 2 items from the freezer) and added fresh produce etc.... can't let all that food go to waste, especially with the economy slowing down. So my goal during this is to make the sugared items for the kids and hubby - this doesn't bother me because I already don't consume sugar due to allergies... and make a salad or other veggie... and then prepare whatever else comes out of the freezer in the healthiest way possible....
Tonight we are having turkey... with celery salad - and homemade, sugar free cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes w/gravy (for the kids mainly).... If this sounds a lot like xmas dinner well we didn't have our turkey then as we were spread too thin w/other family commitments and since the inlaws don't get along w/my family....well that's how it goes.
According to wii fit I have lost 2lbs this week.... I do love that game!
So lunch consisted of a salad w/cheese because everyone is sick... and I was begged not to cook eggs.... hopefully tummies are more stable later now that everyone is on gravol. still cooking the turkey... will be eating leftovers for days.

Kinda skipped breakfast.... I know bad example... came home for lunch - 1 low fat chicken sandwich on whole grain ww sugar free bread, w/marg. advacado, mustard & lettuce; also having 2 cups worth of fresh veggies w/ a homemade sugar free orange sesame dressing that a friend made for me... (as far as I can tell the only questionable ing. in it is the mandarin orange juice)

So after work I went grocery shopping (something I do nearly daily) Decided to have a ww pasta salad for supper... of course mine was heavy on the veggies and light on the pasta. It was delicious and I am definately satisfied... now my kids are doing the dishes. - It's good to have teens & pre-teens around. Tomorrow I am taking some of the same salad to work for lunch... and then we are having stew for supper.... will have to stock up on extra veggies to put in that. Then on Monday it's back to the freezer to see what's next.

Well this weekend went fairly well; took some pasta salad w/me to the ski hill, and some cheese for my pocket. had pork chops tonight w/frsh veggies & dip. then a few nuts later for a snack... and some yogurt. I have not been eating breakfast... get sick if I eat before 11am... Always been like that though so I guess no breaky for me.

Well... haven't been here for a while... haven't exactly had bad eating habits, haven't exactly had perfect ones either. Have decided to try to keep track of what I eat and do here... as best I can. - Then I can look back and say ok now what do I WANT to change. So for now my menu's, and excercise lists aren't about staying on the beach they are about honesty - and about the little things that maybe I am eating when I am not paying attention.
So far today I have had:
2 cups of coffee
1 cup of sugar-free cranberry juice
3 cup water
1 sandwich - parmesan chicken w/mayo on ancient grains bread
3cups carrot salad w/mayo/miracle whip
2 icebreakers sugar free mints
3 ribs (2 beer & lime marinade, 1 bbq sauce)
For my activity today:
rode bike to/from work
rode bike to/from son's swimming
