I have made up my mind to start the year off with changes in my lifestyle. I weighed in this morning at the heaviest in many years 158.6. My goal weight is 145 that is where I feel my body looks the best. I am not going to let any parties or going out mess my eating plans out. I promise myself for the first two weeks I am going to stand my ground. The two times I did this diet I lost slowly but my body lost every inch of fat I became toned. So wish me luck here I go again.

Good luck!! It's not a quick weight loss plan, but it is an effective one when adopted as a lifestyle program! If you did it once, you can do it again!

Got on the scale this morning after one day of being on the SBD the scale said 156.4 I am not sure if that was just water loss due to my weight going to 158 after eating a lot and drinking for the holidays. Today I had to do a bit of traveling so I did not get a chance to exercise but I ate very healthy.
I am not expecting any major change but hoping to see no gain.

I followed SB in 2004, lost 48 lb. Here it is 2009, I have gained it all back. No one to blame but myself. I started SB again 13 days ago. I have lost 8 lb. and feel so much better. I work in the food industry, so it really takes discipline to keep myself on the plan. I am determined to do it though. I feel so much better when I am not bogged down with all the sugar!

hi there. not sure if you guys are still on the SB diet or not... as I realize these were posts from january. i have just started the SB diet again for the 3rd time (in about 3 years). The first time was successful! 2nd time was not. This time, I really hope to stick to it and have the success that i had the first time. My question to you as SB veterans is.. do you find the diet being more of a challenge having done it a few times already? ie, is it more difficult to lose weight? The 2nd time I failed mainly out of impatience of not losing any weight (as fast and as much as my first time) and well just completely sabotaged it in the end before my first 2 weeks was up. I'm sure the impatience was my downfall. I understand that. However, I remembered doing research and thought I read something about how the body/system may not take to the diet after shocking it so many times? ie, the SB is not made as a revisited diet. not sure. so i guess i'm here just wondering your experiences with returning to the SB and your success... or pointers.
Thanks!!
