It's in a box and I usually find it in the baking isle near evaporated (canned) milk.

The powdered milk was just too pricey for me to get just to make a treat. I followed the instructions (below) but made some changes to the ingredients:

Warm "Brownie"
makes 1 serving

In a small custard dish add:

1 Tbs nut butter (almond is the best and I use 2 tsp to 1T, not more)
1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder - I STRONGLY recommend using Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder, it gives this a really great chocolate flavor
1 Tsp (or more) NF milk
1 pkt splenda

Mix till very crumbly, put in microwave for 20 seconds (15 if you have a very strong microwave). Add:

2 tsps splenda sweetened pancake syrup (or chocolate syrup, caramel syrup...the list goes on and on...)

Mix really, really well. Mooshing and stirring till it's very dark and creamy. You want all the milk powder dissolved and mixed in. Nuke 20 (15) seconds more. Stir again. If it is still dry add 1 tsp more syrup (depends on the amount of nut butter you use, you want it a little stiff, just not dry). Mix well if you added more syrup, then flatten in the dish. Serve with a tiny spoon.

I have also topped mine with some strawberries and light vanilla yogurt - SB brownie sundae!

Ethan&Evan'sMama wrote:Funny... I've made something similar. I put 2T of natural PB into a small bowl... mix in about 1/2T of unsweetened cocoa powder, a little Splenda to taste, a dash of vanilla, a dash of milk, and sometimes a splash of Torani's SF chocolate syrup (not like the kind for ice cream... the chocolate flavored one like the fruit flavored ones). I mix it up and add a little milk if necessary to make it a nice smooth consistency... it is thicker than pudding... thinner than cookie dough... but somewhere in between. I also like to throw in a tablespoon or so of rolled oats. It's like eating no-bake cookie dough raw... and it's incredible. I created that one one night when I really wanted some chocolate!

I tried this last night and I've named it the Chocolate Peanut Butter Yumminess. My husband loved it as well. It was actually so rich that we only had half - we'll have the other half tonight. Thank you for the wonderful recipe!!

I have to try other recipes in this thread, I didn't have some of the ingredients for ones I wanted to try. Hitting the grocery store today!

O. M. G. This is sooo good! Along with the regular dry milk, I add a drop or two of almond milk to make it a smoother consistency, and leave it in my microwave for closer to 25 secs (my micro is old!) and it turns out really good, my husband can't believe it! My nephew said he rather have this than a regular brownie!

Thank you so much!!

A Healthy Brownie Recipe/DD/10/30/11

A Healthy Brownie Recipe

What’s not to love about rich, chocolaty brownies? This delicious recipe uses a surprising ingredient — black beans — for added moisture and fiber. Prepare this guilt-free dessert and have a fun, spooktacular Halloween!

Black Bean Brownies (Phase 1)

Description
This healthy twist on a classic brownie recipe was suggested by a devoted fan of the South Beach Diet. It substitutes fiber-rich black beans and heart-healthy olive oil for the usual butter. When Dr. Arthur Agatston, creator of the South Beach Diet and a known chocolate lover, sampled the brownies, he was pleased by how moist and delicious they were and was delighted to learn that beans were the “secret ingredient.” You can serve the brownies warm from the pan or at room temperature.

Makes 36 (3 per serving)

Hands-on time: 5 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
1 can (15.5 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup granular sugar substitute
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, preferably dark
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
36 small pecan halves or walnut pieces (about 1.5 ounces)

Instructions
Heat the oven to 350°F. Lightly coat an 8" x 8" baking pan with cooking spray.

In a blender or food processor, combine the beans, eggs, oil, vanilla, sugar substitute, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Process until smooth.

Scrape the batter into the pan and arrange the nuts in even rows, 6 across and 6 down. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut into 36 squares with a nut piece in the center of each.
