Here is my before picture, it was taken when me and zak went on vacation to Mass. in October of last year (2007), when (i'm guessing) i was at my highest weight. in this pic i'm about 165-170lbs.
please note the tummy hanging over the bikini bottom
the really terrible thing is that i thought i looked ok while on vacation, it took until i got the pics back to see the truth! it still took some time for me to finally admit that i really needed 'help,' that i couldn't do this myself. i kept trying to work out and eat better, and it just wouldn't stick. i'd have better habits for a few days and then start skipping the gym and buying doritos...
on June 10, 2008, i joined weight watchers at 162.8 lbs.
through weight watchers i lost some weight, and by September 16th, i was down to 148.2 lbs. i've been trying the SBD (with a mixed degree of consistency) for a while now (mid-september), and i'm down to 144.0 lbs. as of October 14th. i think i'll take and post a pic when i hit 20 lbs lost (in 1.2 lbs.!!), hopefully next week, then! i'm still doing the weight watchers meetings, but i'm doing SBD, i just really like the support and camaraderie that the meetings entail. i'll be done with phase one on the 20th, so maybe i'll take my new pic then, at the end of my (successful!) phase one (and grand total overall loss of 20 lbs.!)
(if you're wondering: i f*ed up phase one so bad, that i did start it over, that's why it's taking me so long to get through it!)
