I am a 48 year old man.
I stopped smoking 3 years ago and my weight went from 10 stone 4 lbs to 14 stone. I tried various diets and found them impossible because:
I work 12 hours a day
I have no time to prepare meals
Calorie counting is impossible
I need energy to run my business and need to be alert.
Having looked at various diets I took the bits that suited me and the weight fell off. I started 3 months ago and I am now 10 stone 7 lbs. Some of my friends are now following it and seeing similar results.
I never feel hungry, the food takes no time to prepare and I dont have to worry about portion control.
The added benefit is that the fat came off where it needed to (saggy man breasts and belly blubber)
I would really like to share this with everyone.
One natural yogurt with 2 teaspoons of oats mixed in.
Lunch: Tuna salad. (I normally make a large batch of this which lasts me about 5 days)
Canned tuna in olive oil.
Tomatoes (no seeds)
Cucumber (peeled and de-seeded)
Celery (finely chopped)
Broccoli (just the florets cut small)
Onion (preferably red, finely chopped)
Peppers (any type)
Carrot (finely chopped or grated)
Fresh chillies or chillie sauce (i.e. tabasco)
Tinned beans, drained and rinsed (kidney, borlotti, butter, broad, chick pea etc)
Dress with Lemon juice and black pepper. (No salt and no further oil, enough in the tuna)
Use any other RAW veg that you want and quantities of each ingredient is up to your taste.
Any lean meat, fish or poultry. served with the following sauce, which goes equally well with any of them. (again I make this in a large batch which lasts for 5 days)
Garlic, chillie, ginger
Jar tomato "frito"(not puree, use the one that is just sauce of tomato with no seeds)
Anything else you fancy.
Fry the onions in olive oil until soft.
Add the crushed garlic ginger and chillie.
Add the chopped tomatoes
Add the mushrooms
Add the tomato frito
Season with black pepper.
(again quantities are up to your taste)
When cooking the meat:
Fry in a little olive oil until just browned, add the sauce and simmer for 20 mins.
Serve the meat and sauce with any veg you like either steamed or boiled but dont boil them to death.
NOT: Potato, rice or pasta.
Dont freak out but I take in at least 5 litres a day of the following:
Sparkling water with lime cordial
Chinese tea (no milk, use jasmin, gunpowder or green tea and make it very weak)
NO ALCOHOL AT ALL.
If I do get hungry during the day (very rare) I normally have celery or carrot.
