Hey everyone, my name is Shawnna. I am currently 18 years old and attending a University as a freshman. I decided to start the SBD because over the past 2 years I have gained 20 pounds from lack of exercise and a lack of a healthy diet. i have suffered from eating disorders and negative body image before and I have decided that not eating is NOT the way to go. I am 5'7" and on any given day my weight is at 145 pounds. I started the SBD on 9/7/08 and am on Day 4 of Phase 1 and on day one weighed in at 143 pounds. I have been really good so far and this morning my weight was 134 pounds, now I will say that some of this is water weight because before I was lucky if I even had a sip of water in one day, however I think that I have lost some fat. My goal is to be fit and healthy, I don't mind if I stay the same weight but I would like to have a flat tummy, toned arms, and strong legs. My ultimate goal? Fit into my size 5 jeans again, I am currently at the upper end of size 9.

:) Your very pretty and already have a nice figure but I know how it is about you need to look good for yourself. Im alot older then you but I have dealt with the eating disorders, actually today I gathered up all my double zero jeans and gave them to the cleaning ladies daughter because reality I will never be that small again and never want to be. I thought I looked good at the time but looking back on old pictures I looked really sickly. I went thru a very bad depression and gained 20 to 25 pounds within 6 months due to no more exercising and eating anything and everything I wanted. SB works if you stick to it. Your smart for getting healthy while your young and nipping the eating disorders in the butt. Good luck to you.

Hi, you look good...try not too get hung up on losing weight alone....i find it easier to make healthier food choices and if i slip up i don't dwell on it.


You will benefit from exercise which will tone you up and make you feel much better about yourself thus making it easier to make the right choices.

well its nice to hear from another young person whos is the same height, im amber by the way im 20 yrs old. i think your doing a great job and keep up the good work!
