Your day at the training session was absolutely an example of P3 living and even P2 choices. And let's just say you succeeded with flying colors. Was it SB P1 eating? NO. But it was P2-P3 and that is what this way of eating is all about. Phase 2 and phase 3 are not just for loosing weight. They are for ingraining the wisdom of choices into us so that those choices are habit and we do NOT have to think about it at the next event. The P2 phase is like boot camp. Where we relearn what to crave and what to look at when we are standing in front of that "smorgasboard". Back in the day (only 4 short weeks ago) you would never have even seen that apple or those bars. You'd of been grazing on the starches. Lunch would have been something entirely not healthy and the afternoon snack would have been the same.
Instead you went to the beach, walked along the beach, without realizing it you asked God for help and He carried you past the temptations and you stayed on the beach.
