My partner and I decided to do this together, however her diet is alled the "dr's quick weight loss" and let me tell you ...it is QUICK! Our starting weights are exactly the same and in one week....she has lost 10 pounds, while I have lost 4:( At first I was frustrated by this...but now, I am okay(I think) .
Monday evening I realized just how much her diet is depriving her . On SB in the first 2 weeks we are restricted...but she is even more restricted. And because of this she cant even go for the evening walk with me due to lack of energy. I am aiming for weightloss , but also building muscle and getting in athletic shape like I used to be. I have my low energy days...but I am still able to get to the gym.
So...I was a bit baffled about how she is losing weight so quickly while sitting on the couch and I am bustin my butt in the gym....so now I am just hoping for long term results which will outweigh(so to speak) the benefits of my partner dropping weight so quickly.
Has anyone else encountered a situatiion like this? And has anyone been on the other diet I mentioned?
my start weight was 214.4 and today...9 days in it is 209.7.
