WRAP Enriched unbleached flour (wheat flour, malt barley flour, niacin, ferrous sulfate, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, soy oil, sunflower oil, wheat gluten, slat, mono-diglycerides, sugar, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, calcium propionate (a preservative), fumaric acid, sodium aluminum sulfate, sodium stearoyl lactylate(SSL), potassium sorbate, guar gum, sodium metabisulfite, TBHQ (an antioxidant). Contains wheat.

They just changed this in the middle of the month, the new ones now have 20g of Carbs and only one gram of fiber. Bummer :/

Well they were always more of an Atkins wrap and advertised as part of their Atkins friendly type products. When Atkins lost its juice, these kind of products tended to "dry up". You can still eat their salads! ;)

Good to know though! Thanks for the update!

Guess they're definitely not OK. I avoid wraps unless they are ones I picked up myself, and know what size my portion is. I haven't had occasion to buy a sandwich when out for a while. The last time, I ended up having a whole whole grain bagel, but it was my best choice... all we can do when we're out. I REALLY enjoyed that.

Thanks.. always good to get these bits of information to store for future use. :)

I ordered a wrap last night because I'm tired of salads plus Subway charges $1 more for salads.

Then I brought the wrap home and transferred it lock, stock and barrel into my WW tortilla.

There's a new Subway near our house, and they're not very good at wraps anyway. They can't seem to get the knack of folding them.

Enriched unbleached flour is the same thing as white flour which is a big no no on the SBD. You want whole grains not overly processed "white" stuff. The sugar isn't good either.

Thank you...I didn't realize the enriched unbleached flour was a no-no. I thought as long as it wasn't white flour, it was okay. And then it saying "wheat flour" in parenthesis made it seem okay to me. Maybe that's why I've only lost 2lbs. since I started P2 two weeks ago...lol. Thanks again! I won't make that mistake again!

You want to be looking for things that say 100% whole wheat. Also, the fiber is really low - I'm not sure what the requirements are (I don't buy a lot of bread, I usually stick to my oatmeal and Uncle Sam's cereal, but I'm sure someone else can point them out) but you want to make sure that your grains are a good source of fiber.

They don't post ingredients on their website, but they do post nutrition information. I see that a whole flatbread has only 2g of fiber:
http://www.subway.com/applications/Nutr ... d=breadtop

That puts it below the guidelines for bread (at least 3g of fiber per 1-ounce slice), even assuming it was whole-grain.
