Weigh in 208.8.

Still think I am retaining water from TOM. Oh well plan on drinking plenty today.

This morning we went to DD Kindergarten orientation. That was nice I went to high school with her teacher so I know her pretty well.

Last night I watched the Phillies game, glad they won.

Today have to go over summer reading assignment with other daughter and just organize some stuff and do some invoicing for DH. Kind of humid today so won't do too much.

Was really hungry this morning.

B-half ham and cheese omelet, steel cut oats, coffee
S-none stuffed from breakfast
L-chix salad and apple

Great job on your weight loss (I'm sure the most recent one is just water weight!). That's so sweet that you rescued those squirrels.

Glad dd's kindergarten teacher is good. That really makes a huge difference in how your year goes!

Great job jogging for 30 minutes!!!!

Well, I'm on the run, and need to be somewhere in 10 minutes, so I better go! Sorry I haven't been by as much as I'd like to! But keep up the great work!

Well I am pretty happy becaue it finally looks like I have broken through that barrier once and for all. This morning I was 207 so I am saying goodbye to 212 once and for all.

Last night I even had a Miller lite and let me tell you how good that was. Especially after DH and BIL and I were busy taking down a huge cedar in our front yard. I don't drink that much ever since I started this WOL but sometimes I just need one to help me unwind especially after yardwork. It was so good and went straight to my head. :D

Today I clean the house and run out for a few things. I cannot wait for school to start I can start Painting.

205.2 today.

Maybe this whole jogging thing was really the key into kicking my weight loss into gear again. It seems when I go back to look at my weight loss I didn't lose for 3 months and funny it was summer where I didn't really jog on the treadmill at all and was mostly outside exercising. Maybe it was just a plateau and coincidentally happened to be the months of June through august.

Yesterday first day of school. Now have two riding the bus. :( Oh well I can keep myself busy.

DH and I get up early and exercise together its quite nice. We put a TV downstairs in the basement and it really helps me keep my mind off of watching the clock.

Going to clean out playroom today and make chili for tonight. Have to go pickup car at dealer and hit BJs for a few items. Maybe I can start painting tomorrow.

B-one egg omelet filled with black beans, chicken, salsa, cheese, coffee
S-almonds
L-salad

Hi Amity! Congratulations on your weight loss--that's so awesome!! I bet you it is the jogging. I stopped jogging because I hurt my foot but I think I'll start again when it cools off a little more. We've been in this terrible heat wave that hasn't relented, even in the mornings. Even if 30 minutes 3x a week is too much for me, maybe 20 minutes 3x a week along with other exercise would be sufficient to jump start my loss. I'm certain you've built muscle and that burns more fat which is why you're losing consistently. I'm so glad for you.

I haven't been posting because I'm not exactly sure why. The lazy heat of the summer? It might be that I'm posting the food intake for myself and my dh into our Calorie King program and it seems redundant to post the food here. Also, now that my dh has finally pulled his head out of the sand regarding his weight I can finally talk to him about all of the related issues--and he's responsive and supportive.

But I love hearing about what you're doing and how well you're doing, too. And I was so impressed with your story about the squirrels--that was so sweet of you to take care of them! Oh, and how's your bee sting?

I might start posting again now that I'm getting back on a regular schedule with school starting soon. I almost quit this summer but decided to push through.

Take care and stay cool!

~Heidi

Wow, you're getting so close to Onederland! 205!! Awesome!

I totally believe that the jogging thing is what is getting you such fantastic results. From my experience, exercise is sooo important. I don't really eat very well (and I treat myself to a beer pretty often), but I am still losing (slowly) due to exercise. Jogging/ running challenges our bodies to a whole new level, and I imagine that our metabolism is speeding up a bit! Are you seeing major changes in your legs? Mine are starting to look pretty good!! ;)

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Today real quick then I have to start taking down wallpaper. I am up a little today but that might be from water. I am at 206.

I also did have a piece of cornbread with my chili so thats that.

Oh and I did have 2 slices of bread yesterday. I guess a lot more grains than I would normally do so maybe thats it.

Did the elliptical for 30.

Hi Heidi and Sarah! Glad to see you guys.

Yes Sarah I do see changes less jiggle in my upper thighs.

Heidi bee sting is gone but then I got poison ivy on same arm. It never stops.

I did see a peregrine falcon yesterday it landed right in my evergreen. Stayed there for awhile then took off and flew right by our screened in porch. So awesome. Not for the little birds and animals (which all knew it was there) but quite a sight to see that wingspan.

Couldn't pick up car yesterday dealer ordered wrong part so have to today.

B-eggs w/cheese slice of Lowcarb WW bread
S-probably nothing

I got up early and jogged this morning and skipped weights. I think from painting yesterday my body was really rejecting anything. After 15 mins of jogging I had to walk for 4 minutes then jogged another 6 then walked. I was really mad at myself. I just think my body was too exhausted. Maybe I can get the strength in tomorrow. Then I will feel better.

Eating was good yesterday no cheats or anything. I think that chili might be giving me water weight. Post workout was 204.8-205.

Just have to roll the room and then I am done. Then pick over toys to get rid of junk and put everything back in an organized fashion. Found some whimsical curtains at Target and need a new TV stand in there.

Oh forgot paint white trim. Shouldn't take too long.

B-mush and cheese omelet, WW toast, coffee
L-tuna salad
D-not sure but will not abandon plan

Hi Sarah I rested 4 days. OOPS. Thats ok though I ate well and down another pound today. Wahoo. Closer and closer to onederland can't wait.

Past couple of days were busy with just running errands. Today not doing too much. DO have to take some old kerosene and gasoline containers to Hazardous Waste dropoff. Need to go food shopping and get house clean which I would like to do today that way I have tomorrow off.

Its pretty crappy out this morning but hopefully it will clear up. DH needs to mow the lawn. Leaves are starting to fall like crazy. Well just the pin oaks.

THis week I am going to start painting the hallway. Hip is doing better and I think I will run 2x a week and 3x elliptical. Less of an impact.
