Hi Rose! Glad to see your back and feeling better! Good luck this week! I know what you mean about going to visit the parents. I'm the only one in my family who is not slim. UGH! Just got to stick to the SBD! Keep up the good work!

Yep, I hear you! I love my mom to death, but it's hard to have a babe for a mom sometimes.

I had a great bike commute today - fast and furious.
Wednesday:
AM - ride to work 45 minutes! a tie with my fastest time ever - wahoo!
PM - ride home from work - 55 minutes; 5 minutes quick ab work; 5-10 minutes stretch
Menu: not beachy enough for my September challenge points, but not too shabby.
B1: cheese stick
B2: Smart Balance Oatmeal packet
L: Middle Eastern - yum!
S: Middle Eastern left overs
S2: here's where I lost my beachy-ness - 6 midgie tootsie rolls, 1 Godiva truffle, 1 mini Reese's PB cup
D: Turkey Chili

Rose--I see you are still doing well on your bike commutes! Awesome! I was looking at bikes last weekend and really felt compelled to buy one, but with weather changes here in Ohio, I will probably only be able to ride my bike for a couple of more months before I have to put it in storage. Do you plan to keep riding this winter?

I was so excited to get my bike all ready to go for this summer and then found out I was pregnant. Seeing as everything was making me dizzy I figured balancing on two wheels probably wasn't the safest thing to do. Especially while pulling kids in the trailer behind me. Way to go your commutes, that's great! Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Smurl and Meemoo for the props on the bike commuting. I am going to try to ride as long as I can. I know that when it gets really cold I will be taking the subway. I plan to take a spinning class during the months that I can't get outside on my bike to hopefully keep myself in shape well enough to not miss a beat in the spring. Plus, I have a bike trainer that I can use at home. It takes the back wheel of any bike and runs it on a roller, so you can turn an outside bike into an indoor stationary bike. Very boring, but good option when the weather is bad!

Monday menu:
B - cheese stick
B2 - Smart Balance Oatmeal packet
L - chicken and barley soup; raw veggies, app. 2 cups; 1 godiva truffle
S - 100 cal popcorn
D - Fiesta salad - lettuce, celery, bell pepper, black beans, corn, 1 tblsp ranch, salsa, black olives, green chili, shredded cheese, and a handful of crunched up whole grain tortilla chips

So close to being a beachy day, but that truffle did me in!

Tuesday menu:
B - kashi cereal
S - 2 cheese sticks
S - 1 1/2 truffles (aw, crap. blew beachy again today. why am I f-ing up?)
L - chicken sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato; green salad with tomato, a couple mozz cubes, and cubed eggplant; big chocolate chip cookie (crap!)
D - pita pizza - chicken, tomato, spinach, mozz, black olives, green chilis
Treat (as if I needed another one today!) - 1 cup raspberries and peaches
