And use one of the thinner rulers and use one of the smaller sliders and don't add any additional text above the ticker, then you can avoid the current 60 pixel height limitation on this board. ( I got it to work with two different rulers (the belt and the city skyline) and two different sliders, and failed on one other (the sort of rain drops one), so try whichever ones you want and keep trying other thinner ones if they fail the 60 pixel limitation test.
Also be sure to use the middle option for "psuedo html or BBCode" type text and copy and paste the entire text string into your signature area in the User Control Panel here. (Use the Profile tab and then the "edit signature" button on the left hand side)
Also make sure "Enable BBCode by default:" is set to Yes under the Board Preferences tab in the "Edit posting defaults" menu selection, too!

Another sort of weirdness is that on that first page you need to click on the link to "Start Ticker Creation" first, create the whole ticker first and then set the username and password if you want the data to remain private and then make sure you actually save your username and password as it will change the username on you to a random set of alphanumeric values.
