I ended the day with some home made chicken soup with celery. Very comforting. No rice, no noodles, no corn. Just celery.

Hope y'all had a good day.

My day is progressing as usual. Not getting everything done that I would like, but working at it. I know this isn't a newsflash, but it really does take more time to fix healthy instead of slapping a pizza in the oven.

L - lettuce, celery, 2% cottage cheese, 1 serving healthy ham from a lunch meat package, RF cheese

I honestly do fell better (tummy wise) eating this way.

8)

I pre made my dinner salad:
D - lettuce, celery, 1 serving Veggie Quiche (2), 1 oz RF cheese

I'll take a P2 muffin for break tonight.

Have a fun day.

I made it through more training and testing and I guess I am now qualified to be out on the floor at JCPenney. The lady that walked me around the store asked if I had worked retail before. I told her that I've been in retailing on and off since I was 18 years old. And that is quite some time ago.
Every one has been very nice there and I feel quite welcome.

Came home and ate my pre made dinner salad. Twas good, but I did do some SBD binging. By that I mean that I did eat more stuff, but it was SBD approved stuff.

Sa'll for now.

Have a good evening people.

Same breakfast, different day. Daughter and I are trying to get out for some local errands (by that I mean we aren't driving for an hour south to do shopping).

I weighed myself this morning, not quite a week, but that doesn't really matter. I am the same, 176, but not depressed about it. At least I didn't gain.

Quick SBDP2 muffin with FF cream cheese for a snack. My daughter with the severe allergies keeps me honest, can't really stop for fast food with her around. (Thank you Sarah)

Hope y'all are doing well.

Well, Good news: Hole in hand is not melanoma. Bad news: Triglycerides still way too high so now there is a new pill in the morning. I am usually one of the 2% of the population that has at least one of the "that's odd" side effects.

I have now officially turned into my Mother. Actually, she had carotid artery disease and my older (by three years) sister has one side of her neck almost completely blocked and she has had a few strokes. We have lived two completely different lifestyles, but still... I do keep up on my tests that my Dr wants me to have.

>sigh<

Down two more pounds !!!! Don't know how, don't know why, but I'm glad.

New job is doing fine, but more importantly, new meds are not causing any side effect issues yet, I've been taking them for four days now and so far, so good.

I still have my fingers crossed.
I seem to be more tired lately. I really think it's because the air conditioning is not working at new job. "They" say it will be fixed soon.

Have a great weekend, Beachers.

Thank you Raenstorm... Hopefully the air will be fixed soon.

I am learning to combine for a "power protein lunch" that have really helped me keep on track. I'm not saying I am perfect in keeping with the diet, but I feel better and that is always a good thing.
One of my major issues are what an allergist once called "sensitivities". Most of the things that my daughter is allergic to, some anaphylactic, I have symptoms. I admire my daughter for sticking with her "diet", although she would say it is simply survival. It is, but that doesn't seem to stop me from eating things that I know will upset my system.
.... Anyway ....
My latest "power protein lunch" combo is chicken breast, celery, walnuts and Miracle Whip Light. I have also added a "mandatory" SBD P2 muffin with my breakfast. As I stated in a previous post, I have started taking Tricor and the side effects aren't particularly pleasant for someone that is prone to stomach and intestinal issues. So I decided that by adding the mandatory muffin before I take a Tricor I just might side step any bad issues. So far this has worked. And for that I am thankful.

I hope you are all doing well on the Beach.

Did well today, that is until tonight.

I grilled some chicken that I marinated in FF Dijon dressing. I cut it in strips and put it on a salad.

And now my tummy hurts.

<sigh>

Hello Beachers !

Daughter that knows her allergies believes that my issue from last night would be linked to the FF Dijon dressing was probably the culprit. She is probably right. I am feeling better in the tummy today. New issue though is a swollen gland or something in my neck.

SBD P2 muffins are so good. Daughter had to stay in her cave while I made them, but kitchen is aired out and all is well.
My grocery store finally got in some fresh asparagus that isn't nasty. I was afraid I was going to have to drive south for an hour to a different grocery store.

Hi World of the Beach.
I'm still here. Not too awake tonight and my lower 1/2 of my body is sooo tired.
I am sitting in my recliner hoping my feet feel better.

Hope you are all doing well.
