Hey Hun! I see we are sticking to our pact (even though you do more early days than I). Went to my 6:15am Hardbody class and did some ab/arm work afterward. Didn't feel like mounting the e-beast this morning  Traveling drains the energy out of me and was SO happy the ladies I do yoga with cancelled last night!

Not weighing in myself this week as I know i've caused major damage over the weekend but not feeling frustrated or guilty at all about it (how about that for a change?!). Just doing like you and getting back on the horse.

Away we go...grab your shades and flip flops so we can hit the sand 8)

Funny how we're all having struggles with the scale lately. I'm up and down 2 1bs like a frigging yo-yo  What's up with that?? I totally understand TOM and sugar craving. SUCKS!! Anyway, hoping you find your way back to the exercise and eating well and feel better soon. I officially changed my weekly weigh in day to Fridays from Wednesdays!!! Hoping it's good to me.

Hi Wanda! No, that's not all I ate. (I think I had the wrong date?) That was from this morning. I just posted the rest of my items and planned dinner. I'm glad you're sticking to exercising, too. I'm having a hard time keeping to my pact right now, but if I can get at least two days of morning exercise in, I'm doing good. Right?!?

We're having a big farewell bash for me on May 1 and considering that we just bought our house last year, it needs a lot of work before I'm 100% comfortable with having co-workers, etc over. You've seen over the past few weeks that we've been working on our bedroom. The carpet will finally be laid on Tuesday and I will be able to get the rest of my house back to normal! We've decided we're running out of time to paint the kitchen, so it will be on hold until I return (or if DH wants to do it while I'm gone - yeah right!).

Since we're holding the party outside, we've got a lot to get ready in the yard as well. Our place was in decent condition when we bought it, it just needed updates and a little TLC for curb appeal. Long story short is that now we're trying to get as much of it finished before the party. DH has a lot of BIG projects going on outside and our place is quite a disaster zone right now. But, with my help, he'll get there.

I just hope it doesn't rain on May 1!

Lisa - I agree, it seems we must all have some kind of weird SB connection. That's not always a bad thing! heh heh It gives us something to b*tch about together! I'm hoping to stay busy and stick to my guns on SB. I thought being at home would be easy on my eating. Yeah right! I make stuff for DH and DS and it's sooooooo tempting. I had a few bites of cheesy hashbrown potatoes with DS today. At least it wasn't a serving! Anyway, I'm off to go make myself busy for a while. I need to finish cutting the circles around and getting our fruit trees ready for mulch. That should be a good amount of exercise in itself. I'm thinking that if I can get that done this afternoon while DS is napping, I will take him out for a walk tonight. The weather should hold out and I know I'm not going to get on my E-Beast. I have my last Drill tomorrow, so I will get some kind of good morning exercise in.

You ladies take care. I might pop on later tonight.

Morning B (I like that :D )! Thanks goodness that wasn't all you ate. I was like why is she starving herself today

That is so cool they're giving you a party! Will be nice to surround yourself by family and friends prior. I'll be praying for a nice sunny day for you and that His light shines upon you

You'll get back on the horse, i'm sure. You're so much better than me with the morning workouts  But proud to report that I got in 2 early morning classes this week so trying to get on your level :D

Wishing you a fantastic Friday 8) :D

Your crying faces above made me laugh out loud. Sorry you are struggling with the food. You're human. Sometimes I take a big bite of the kids KD when I can't stop myself. It happens and so is life (as Wanda would say). Your house sounds like my house - a project - but all is good. I'm sure your party will be a great success and a lot of fun. Have a great weekend Beth.

A Woman of Many Hats

Postby purenavygirl » Sat Apr 24, 2010 1:45 pm

Good Morning Everyone!

Okay, so I've started off on the right foot today. And, I AM GOING TO CONTINUE SO. As soon as I post, I'm off to write my grocery list and head to the store. I'm hoping that once I get home and get DS fed lunch and into bed for his afternoon nap, I can get some type of exercise in. I don't know if I'll mount the E-Beast or do one of my at home routines. Either way, I want to get some type of movement in today.

Lisa - thanks for stopping in. And, I know we're only human, I just get frustrated with myself when I make that many bad mistakes in one day! Maybe somewhere in my head, I needed it. Who knows, there are a lot of changes happening in my Life and very quickly. I guess I'm coping with it that way. (I guess it could be worse than pigging out on Taco Bell and some candies!) But, Today IS Good!

Wanda - I'm being kind of lazy on my morning workouts, but at least I got two in this week. Yours are much more intense than mine were this week. I'm hoping to get my butt back in gear and head over the gym again for a couple of days next week. I really miss my weights! Here's to all us sexy ladies!

Have a Wonderful Weekend everyone. I'll be poppping in here on occasion.

Beth

LOVED your post in my jrnl this morning. Thanks for remembering. If I have the right clip, I will post for all to see!

Don't worry about missteps. You are doing this for health reasons, not wt loss so much, and one day will not throw off your cholesterol and TG's. (Dr Judi speaking). BUT, being home is harder than not being around food, for sure!
Can't believe you are about to deploy soon! Pls keep in touch once you do! Promise?

xoxoxo

PS if you need party advise for May 1st, I feel like I am a real PRO now, so just ask away!

Hey Beth, hope you're having an on track weekend. I am more or less. Had a couple of planned treats yesterday but it's all good. The sun is shining here all weekend and life is good.

A Woman of Many Hats

Postby purenavygirl » Mon Apr 26, 2010 8:03 pm

I so can't remember all what I had yesterday, so I'm not even going to try to post my menu. All I know is that I did raid the Robin Eggs and Jelly Beans (again) and that I had a few CC Cookies. Ugh. I went on an Ice Cream run to DQ and got a Banana Cream Pie Blizzard for myself and stuff for DH and DS. At least I got my fruit in, with a protein, right?

I'm not trying to sabotage myself, but I have let my SB guard down a little. These are my last two weeks with my family before I leave. I am going to enjoy it, including our favorite foods. I need to work on the portion control a little better, but I am giving myself a "free" pass here and there until I leave on May 8 or 9.

No exercise today, but have been clearing our bedroom so that the carpet can be laid tomorrow morning. I am going to put a coat of primer in both of our closets as well. That'll keep me pretty busy for the evening. We're working on getting the garages cleaned out for the party as well, so that's probably where the rest of my energy will go this week...

Lisa - thank you for stopping in. I haven't had much time to visit everyone's journal and post, but I've been trying to keep up on my reading! :D My weekend pretty much had a lot of falls into the sand, but I promised myself today would be good. And, it has. All those cookies and candies I kept snitching over the weekend don't even sound appealing today. Thank God!!!

4/26/2010 - Ugh, so not how I planned. I'm not really hungry and I didn't get enough veggies. At least I didn't cheat... G'Night all.

Breakie
Banana
Hard Boiled Egg

Morning Snack
Coffee w/ Splash of FF Milk and Pkt of Truvia

Lunch
Garlic Pork Roast
Sweet Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Onions

Afternoon Snack
4 Whole Grain Tortilla Chips
Salsa

Dinner
8 oz FF Milk
WW Sandwich Thin
Shredded Beef w/ Mustard
2% Mozzarella Cheese Stick
3 Pepper Hummus

Dessert
8 oz FF Milk

Beth, I am so embarrassed! Here you are reading/commenting/encouraging me on my journal and I have never looked at yours!! How silly of me. I did not have time to read through all of yours (it will take some time I am sure), but you are AMAZING! I promise I will be better at keeping up with others journals and posting more. Keep up the good work!

Hey Beth, funny how we can slip up on the weekend and get right back on the beach on Monday. THat's what happened with me today. Only thing is my planned exercise didn't happen but that's okay - 6 days left in the week.
Hope you have a great week with your family. You must be getting anxious now that your d day is coming up so soon.
