Today was another busy day. I made the chocolate chip whole wheat muffin recipe and the whole wheat banana loaf receipe today. Both were really awesome, but I wanted to keep eating them, just like the old days. I had 1 muffin, and 3 very skinny slices of the banana loaf... I'm not sure I can continue to have this in my house. It tastes just like the regular kind and muffins were my all time weakness pre-SB.

B: 1 whole grain toast with tuna, lf cheese;
D: green salad with x-lean taco ground beef, chick peas, oil & vinegar dressing, sinny slice of ww banana loaf;
S: ww choc chip muffin, apple; medium nf latte;
D: green salad with feta, chicken, oil & vinegar dressing;
S: 2 skinny slices of ww banana loaf

Hope you're all doing well.

Thank you so much for dropping by Happym04. It makes me feel good that I am motivating you. It's not easy to change your life and that's exactly what we're doing here... changing our lives and choosing to be happy and healthy and take control back. I know when I was eating junk and waking up every day, overweight, feeling so disappointed in myself every day because I couldn't seem to get control, it was AWFUL!!! I never want to feel that way again, ever! This is such a nicer way to live! Sure I miss eating ice cream, muffins, chocolate, creamy pasta sauces....etc.... but I have some really nice substitutes here and they do me just fine. Plus I feel so good in my skin that why would I want to eat that crap and feel like crap again??

Ok, enough said! Now on with my day. It's been busy and it's so nice to sit down, check in here while watching TV (Dancing with the Stars is about to start) and chilling ... my favourite place on the Internet. :D

B: 1 egg/eggwhite scrambled with whole grain toast, lf cheese;
S: lf cheesestring;
L: green salad with feta, chicken, oil & vinegar dressing;
S: WW banana loaf slice with apple;
D: 1/2 cup ww pasta with x-lean vegetable meat sauce, lf cheese, green salad with oil & vinegar dressing;
S: fudgsicle/PB frozen treat.

Hope you're all doing well.

I miss my tomato cream/pesto cream sauces and may indulge in them as a treat one day but not all the time as I did pre-SB days (well return for me :roll: ). But this is why i'm back because I know it works I just have to work it! Isn't anticipating wearing new clothes, and old ones, exciting??!! It is for me, that's for sure and who'd have thunk it :wink: 8)

Wishing you a terrific Tuesday, Peace & Blessings

Thanks Mrsgjr for the nice message.

I weighed myself this morning and looks like I'm up 1 1b... :( I think it's likely due to the P2 muffins and banana loaf I made on the same day. they were too good and I probably ate too much of them. But hey, live and learn and that's okay because I feel great!

B: 1 egg/eggwhite omelette with peppers, onion, lf ham, lf cheese;
L: green salad with chick peas, oil & vinegar dressing, 1/2 c ww pasta and x-lean veggie meat sauce, lf cheese;
S: P2 ww choc chip muffin, 1 apple, nf latte
D: green salad, lf cheese, x-lean taco ground beef, low sugar ranch dressing, handful of ww tostido chips with salsa
S: fudgsicle/PB frozen treat

Hope you're all having a great beachy day.

Morning Beaching It! Just dropping in to check on you. Happy to read you're feeling better and yes, you just have to get that body moving! We all hate that word "exercise" but know it's beneficial for our ultimate goal. Keep it moving and onward bound :arrow: :arrow: :arrow:

Wishing you a spectacular Saturday and hope it is healthy and all you want it to be. Smoochezz :wink:

Re: Beaching It - Jumping in now in P2

Thanks! I have a gym membership at an awesome gym and when I'm in good habits, I work out 3 times a week and do really fun classes, treadmill etc. Since I got sick at the end of August, I got out of my good habit (for good reason) and even now I have to use my inhaler sometimes...but I think I'll be good to get back at it next week and start a lunch time walking program too. I know I always feel better when I'm exercising regularly... although I honestly can't say whether it helps my weight loss or not...???

Yesterday was a good, busy day. I went out for dinner with some girlfriends from work to a steakhouse and did really well overall with that.

Saturday:

B: egg/eggwhite scrambled, whole grain toast;
L: greek salad with feta, chicken, low sugar ranch dressing, P2 choc chip muffin (yes... I ended up making them again);
S: apple, 15 almonds, 2 PB cookies before leaving for dinner so I wasn't too hungry;
D: Salmon fillet, mixed veggies, very small amount of a mixed white/wild grain rice, caesar salad (with dressing but only a couple of croutons);

So that's it... Hoping you're all having a good beachy day. We're off to a fair today so that may be a lunch challenge. Mom is coming for dinner for her b-day (steaks and veggies - yummy).

Well the fair was a bit of a challenge because we made the ultimate mistake with kids... left lunch a little too late because we were too busy doing rides, games, watching horses, etc. Then the kids started melting down and we were like ... oops... we have to eat. So we went to the first place we saw so you will see what I ended up eating... but it was okay overall - no funnel cakes:

Sunday:

B: eggwhite/egg omelette with peppers/onion, lf ham, lf cheese;
L: hamburger with cheese on a white bun with ketchup, apple;
S: 15 almonds, P2 choc chip muffin;
D: grilled steak, grilled veggies, 1/4 c brown rice, shrimp (with cocktail sauce - couldn't resist);
S: BBB with lf cool whip

My mom and dad came for dinner for my mom's b-day and my mom has been saying she's going on SB soon (but got my sickness so doesn't want to start until she's feeling better). So I was telling her about all my SB 'treats' that I eat daily and ended up making the BBB fresh while she was there since I didn't have any. So her and I ate them for dessert and she could not believe how good they were (she saw me make them - ha ha)! So she's telling me to send her the link to this site and all my recipes... we'll see. She did SB 2 years ago when I did and did well, but like me, never really made the real transition to P2 and ended up falling off the wagon.

Today was a good day back doing the daily grind:

Monday:

B: 1 egg/eggwhite, whole grain toast, lf cheese;
S: lf cheesestring;
L: Wendy's green salad with chili, sour cream, lite dressing;
S: apple, P2 choc chip muffin;
D: green salad with low sugar dressing, 1/4 cup ww pasta with x-lean veggie meat sauce, lf cheese;
S: BBB with lf cool whip

Hope you're all having a fantastic day. I will weigh in tomorrow, but not feeling much lighter... although that being said, I put on my favourite jeans on the weekend and they were loose and very comfortable, and I received a few comments on how good I look.,..and a lot of hugs from my DH. Although he doesn't say anything when I'm heavier, I know he prefers it when I'm at a better weight for my body and when I am, he seems much more affectionate. :P

You are so funny! :D I feel the same way about my husband! He always tells me that I look good whatever weight but he is also very supportive of me when I am trying to get in better shape too. So funny that you are "getting more hugs". So many things change when we feel better. I feel more "affectionate" when I work out and eat healthier so my husband reaps the benefits :wink: and when we are happy together, the whole family and life in general seems more peaceful. It is great motivation! You really did not eat so bad considering you were at a fair! You should be proud. Also, can you tell me where to find the bean brownie recipe? I would love to try it. Have a great day!
