Today's menu was kind of screwy because I got up at 11:30 am so didn't really have 3 meals...

L: 1 ww bread, tuna, low fat mayo, low fat cheese;
S: apple, 15 almonds
D: green salad with 1 egg, cheese, sirloin steak, grilled veggies
S: strawberries with lf cool whip and a sliver of angel food cake; BBB with lf cool whip

Will sleep most of tomorrow so will be another weird food day I'm sure...

Another strange day since I'm quite sick still with this yucky cold! Took today off work and slept until 2:30 pm (much needed)!! May do the same tomorrow depending on how tonight goes. So most of today was snacks over meals. Made a new batch of BBB and PB cookies!

B: 1 whole grain bread, PB;
S: V8 heated up, smoothie (1 cup milk, 5 frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup ff vanilla yogurt, splenda)
D: 1/2 cup ww pasta, spaghetti sauce (x-lean ground beef/veggies), green salad with oil & vinegar dressing, lf cheese
S: 2 BBB, 2 PB cookies with lf cool whip

Not much water or veggies today and too much PB but I made it through the day and got some protein and some veg in there. I'm thinking I may need antibiotics so if this doesn't begin to clear up within 2 days, I'm going back to the doctor... :roll:

Thanks! It's more of a dry, irritated cough where nothing happens, but it keeps me up half the night!! So frustrating. I stayed home yesterday and today and seem to be able to sleep better in the day, so I only just got up. I think I just need to rest and take it easy with no kids/DH at home. It's so nice to have the house to myself, although my office just called and put me on a conference call...urghhhh!!!!

Weighed in this morning and lost 2 1bs this week so 10 yucky pounds gone in 6 weeks... woo hoo for me....!!! :lol:

Today was another weird day because I slept until 1:00 pm again (but did get up to have breakfast with the kids). I'm feeling somewhat better so we'll see how I am tomorrow.

B: 1 whole grain toast, pb;
L: 1 cup V8 heated, 5 ww crackers, lf cheese;
S: 2 BBB with lf cool whip, smoothie with strawberries, lf milk, lf vanilla yogurt;
D: green salad with x-lean taco ground beef, oil & vinegar dressing, lf cheese;
S: fudgsicle, PB frozen treat

Not bad. Throat is killing me so the frozen treat and smoothie go down really well.

10 1bs gone :arrow: 15-20 1bs to go!! :mrgreen:

40 sticks of butter!!!! Wow! Thanks for the visualization! :lol:

So today I stayed home again from work and have a 7pm doctor's appointment so hopefully I can get this cough sorted out and get some sleep tonight! :cry: I have to go to work tomorrow no matter what, although staying at home all day in my PJs surfing the net is kind of nice. :mrgreen:

So today, this is how it's going to go down:

B: 1 whole grain toast with PB;
L: 1 c V8 heated up with 6 ww crackers, lf cheese, bbb with lf cool whip
S: smoothie with 5 frozen strawberries, 1 c ff milk, 1/2 cup ff vanilla yogurt;
D: green salad with x-lean taco ground beef, oil & vinegar dressing, lf cheese
S: fudgsicle

Here's hoping for a healthier tomorrow. :!:

Thanks for the well wishes! I went to the Dr. and she said it's not H1N1 (phew!) and it's viral so no antibiotics (darn!). She gave me some codeine cough medicine to sleep at night but it seemed to wake me up last night... urghhhh! I went to work today to break the sleeping in the day, up all night habit I've found myself in this week. Now I'm baked and almost ready for bed once Greys Anatomy ends and I can stop crying... George died! I love this show...

Today was a good day - back to the regular routine:

B: 1 egg/eggwhite omelette, peppers/onion, lf cheese, lf ham;
L: green salad, lf cheese with oil & vinegar dressing, 1/4 c ww pasta with x-lean vegetable meat sauce;
S: apple, 15 almonds, BBB (after work)
D: Greek salad with feta, chicken, oil & vinegar dressing, ww pita with taziki;
S: 2 PB cookies/1BBB with lf cool whip

Here's hoping for a good night's sleep :!:

But I'm glad to see you are getting better post-icky illness! And having read your menu, I now crave baba ganouj....

Yes... too sad. George died, Izzy lived but for how long?? Who knows?

Today I'm feeling sort of okay. Slept in my bed all night last night instead of moving to the couch so I guess that's progress. We'll see how it goes tonight.

B: 2 egg omelette with mushroom, onion, peppers, ham, grilled tomato;
L: Greek salad with feta, chicken, oil & vinegar dressing, ww pita with taziki;
S: Large FF latte with apple;
D: Same as lunch (other half of salad);
S: Fudgsicle

My jeans were bagging off my butt and legs today... Great feeling!!! I absolutely HATE the feeling of jeans being TOO TIGHT!! :D

Congrats skinny girl! And yes, you gotta love the jeans that fall off. You know what that means... eventually new jeans! And, amazingly enough, the best jean for me is the Riders from Wal Mart. Fits better than any designer jean. Go figure. And hey, more jeans for less moolah.

Thanks girls! I'll have to check those Walmart jeans out. I actually have quite a few 'favs' in my dresser that haven't fit for a while and that are still too tight, so I have lots to look forward to in the jean department.

Today has been fine. DH and I are heading out for dinner and a movie tonight so if we go to where I think we're going, this is my menu today:

B: 1 egg/eggwhite scrambled with 1 whole grain toast;
L: green salad with oil & vinegar dressing and tuna with light mayo, BBB with lf cool whip;
S: apple with 2 PB cookies;
D: lebanese green salad with feta, chicken, oil & vinegar dressing, garlic sauce, ww pita;

Hope you're all having a great day on the beach!
