Hi guys! Disney wasn't too bad.. .we were there the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so by Tuesday the parks had died down quite a lot. It was great! I tried to find salads in the park, which I did manage to do, but I also ate ice-cream and pizza more than I had planned. :( I'm paying the price for that. I came back up a few pounds, and then all the Christmas parties started (2 days later) so I'm up even more. Uusually when I go away, I can enjoy some treats, gain a few pounds and get them off as soon as I get back and eat properly... BUT this was bad timing :( .... not happy about that!! I can feel (and see) the extra pounds in my tummy and it's all jiggly!!! YUCK!!!! :evil:

I got to 2 spin classes, a BodyJam class (THE BEST) and a BodyPump class since Monday this week!! Gearing up for a very busy, excited weekend here with the kids. Plan to get a run or 2 in on my treadmill in the basement. :mrgreen:

Happy new year everyone! I hope 2012 is the best year for all of us! I've spent the last few days reading back in my journal and seeing my ups and downs and the SB way of life. It's motivated me to make this the year to reach my goal weight of 140, once and for all! Since my Disney World vacation and then back for Christmas, my weight is way up and I feel it in everything... So tomorrow I have the day off work and I will go grocery shopping to ensure that I have the right SB friendly food in the house to start a clean P1 on Tuesday. I hit a 2 hour Zumba party class yesterday which was awesome and will hit the gym tomorrow too. I have no problem exercising 3 - 5 times a week... it's what I put in my mouth that's the issue, when I'm off the SB game. So I know what to do and I have a good plan and will make it happen.

Hey there beaching!! Glad you had an awesome time at Disney!! We went there a couple of years ago and had a blast - although we liked Universal better! NEVER go to Disneyland in JUNE! (Can you say CROWDED?)

I'm here to get all serious with you as we stop eating junk we shouldn't! :D

Hey, Lisa! I'm back in action, too. Trying to journal every day because I know what happens when I don't. The boards should start buzzing again this week - looking forward to seeing everyone coming back!

Well, Day 1 of P1 was a succcess, although I feel impatient and a little cranky with the family... :roll: Went to spin class after work and was dripping sweat the entire time. Feeling good!! I got the nerve up to get on the scale this morning and my weight is WAY up from before we went to Florida...sad! So I have a lot of work to do just to get back to that point which was only 6 weeks ago... urghhh!!! Feeling mad at myself but need to move past that and forget the past!

B: eggwhite omelette with spinach, peppers, lean ham, lf cheese;
L: salad with spinach, peppers, lean ham, lf cheese, oil&vinegar dressing;
S: 15 almonds, celery sticks with laughing cow cheese;
D: salad with spinach, peppers, lf cheese, x-lean taco meat, oil&vinegar dressing;
S: BBB with lf cool whip
Exercise: 45 minute spin class
Water: TONS

On to Day 2!!!

Don't beat yourself up, Lisa! You know what to do and you've already started. Just two days and I feel better already. Exercising is giving me energy and helping me sleep better. Tomorrow is my 3-year SB anniversary, but I'm way up again so need to be very serious. DS brought home his free bread yesterday, a crusty loaf of one of my favorites, but I triumphed. Hang in there - we're all in this together!

Hiya Lisa, no matter how much time goes by we both seem to be here pushing each other through. I see you're already kicking the exercise up a notch, now we're talking! Woot! As for being cranky, i know EXACTLY how that can be as im sure you indulged in a bit of sweets over the holidays just like me. Once i cut it out completely i was cranky for 2 days or so. Glad to see you and stay strong =) Im on the beach here with you, phase 1 except for an apple every 2 days to add just a tiny bit of nutrients since ive already been tired.

Day 2 done and good!! Felt hunger pains today for the first time in months :?: :roll: :roll: I was like...what is that weird sensation?? Ha ha! I'm in a training course this week so sitting in a classroom for 3 days. I brought my lunch and drank tons of water. It was good. I feel hungry now, even though I just ate dinner... have my BBBs for after kids go to bed! Can't wait. Definitely feeling good mentally, like I actually have control over food. That always feels good. :wink:

B: 1 egg/eggwhite omelette with mushroom, spinach, peppers, lf cheese, lean ham;
L: spinach salad with peppers, lf cheese, lean ham, oil&vinegar dressing;
S: celery and laughing cow cream cheese;
D: Subway salad with chicken breast, ranch dressing on side
S: BBB with lf cool whip
No exercise today - day of rest... hopefully tomorrow... definitely Friday.

Crusty bread has been my downfall, along with junk at work. I normally wouldn't buy bread except for DH's sandwiches, but this is free - son brings home a loaf every day that he works, and it's murder because it's good bakery bread and except for one kind, it's white flour. Ugh! I really need someplace to hide it so it doesn't call me while I'm making dinner, which is when I tend to snack on it.

That bread would KILL me!! It's funny because I got all the desserts, chocolates, etc out of the house and everyone is snooping around trying to find something to eat for dessert... TOO BAD for all of us... evil laugh. :twisted: :lol: :twisted:

So today is Day 3 and I feel good but HUNGRY!!! That's good though. I'm eating all day and training my body to just stop wanting all the carbs/sugar that I've allowed for the last 1+ month!! I'm still on training so I haven't been able to hit the gym after work because of the time... but I'm cutting out early tomorrow to hit my regular BodyJam class.

B: 1 egg/eggwhite omelette with mushroom, spinach, peppers, lf cheese, lean ham;
L: spinach salad with lf cheese, lean ham, oil&vinegar dressing;
S: 15 almonds, celery with cream cheese;

Control over food is crucial! We're working on that, in preparation for restarting Phase 1 - just being able to journal and thinking more about food. It's good for us.

HAPPY FREAKIN' NEW YEAR 2012 Lisa!!! While I've kept up with you via FB, I'm in my new role and ready to return to my SB family for good (not that I ever left in mind).

I've got to touch on the rest of the family so this will be short. Glad to see you're still on track after the holiday! You're always the one to keep me in check so will take heed to your direction.

Hey Wanda! so happy to see you!!

Finished training course. Enjoyed it and learned a lot. It was nice to be out of the office 3 days doing something else. Got to my BodyJam class and thought about food the entire time I was working out!!! Still good though. I hopped on the scale this morning (couldn't help myself) and it shows at least a 3 1b drop already!! I won't count officially until Tuesday. :mrgreen: Went to a new restaurant tonight (lebanese) and had a fatoushe salad. It was yummy!!

b: 1 egg/eggwhite omelette, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, lean ham, lf cheese;
L: spinach salad with lf cheese, lean ham, oil&vinegar dressing
S: celery with cream cheese, 15 almonds, light cheesestring
D: fatoushe salad with chicken
S: BBB with lf cool whip;
Exercise: 20 minutes weights/abs, 60 minute BodyJam
Water... not enough today,.will make up for it now. :wink:
