Oh, I so get it now. Well, not really MY type of music, but similiar to country line dancing. :) Ever see a fat cowboy? It ain't the riding, it's the dancing! Hope all is well in your part of the world!

Hi guys, hope you're having a good weekend. My foot was KILLING me after that class Friday so skipped the gym this weekend and went for a massage. That helped a lot! I just can't do the dance type classes right now which really sucks! thinking of getting some physio therapy on the foot to help it heal faster?

My weekend so far has been a dream! Kids both went to friends over night so DH had a nice date night with our friends, and watched the SENATORS/NY RANGERS playoff game last night! Fun! slept in this morning then went down the street for breafast. One of them is home now with her friend, the other is still out.

So they're saying snow tonight!! WHAT??? :shock:

Snow came!!! Blah!! Made a physio appointment for Thursday morning!! Yah! And had a totally clean P1 day!!! :mrgreen: Happy Monday everyone.

Sorry to hear your foot is still bothering you and about the snow, excited that you were solid P1! Great job! I gotta say, I sort of expect it to snow in Canada. ;)

Not all year round Michelle!! When we got home from Mexico on March 20 it was in the 80s!!! Rarely happens that early but snow now??? come on!!!! :evil:

So week is good so far. P1 except for a pita with my dinner last night (out for dinner at a shwarma place). Went spinning yesterday and will go again tomorrow, and swim on Friday. Physio tomorrow. Yay!! Hope she can help me. I need to get back to dancing. :wink:

Good luck with the physio. I'm sure it will help a lot. Just do the exercises they give you as many times a day as you can and you'll heal in no time!

I keep seeing all the classes you're taking and now I'm lusting after a gym membership. As soon as I find work, the first thing I'm going to do is join our local YMCA, start with water exercises, and get back on the machines. Not sure if I'll ever be ready for anything called Body Jam :lol:

I know you're going to do exactly what the physio tell you tomorrow, Beachy! You will make an A+ in plantar fasciitis! :D I had it too. It lasted almost a YEAR! So Mind Your Physio! :shock: Do Not Dance! :shock: (OOH, do you remember that movie In and Out with Kevin Kline where he has to Not Dance? I love that!) Or I will hunt you down and put Kyan's evil-eye thingy on you.

Snow huh? People around here were complaining because it got down to like the 50's at night for 2 days, i guess that's one of those things about living in florida. Take it easy with the foot, while a little phsyical therapy helps im sure, overdoing it will long long long extend that injury which im sure you dont want at all! What is a shwarma place? Congratulations on phase one though, you're doing outstanding!

Hey Jeff! A shwarma place is a restaurant that sells shwarmas. Lebanese food. YUM!! Lots of garlic, hummus, delicious chicken/beef - to die for potatoes that I try never to eat. :wink:

So I went for physio this morning and she spent a lot of time diagnosing me. It's NOT plantar fasciitus as it turns out. It's a pulled ligament on the outside of my foot. She showed me a picture of all the muscles and ligaments down the calf into the foot and the area it hurts is exactly where the ligament meets the bone. So I was really happy she knew what was going on because now we can treat it. YAAY!!!! So she hooked me up to ultrasound, TENS machine, and gave me exercises to do 3 x a day every day. I go back 2 x next week for more of the same. Of course I have to quit dancing for now, and just do what she says! I'm down for that!!

I never saw that movie Bethy. I guess I should. :lol:

I will dance walk in the grocery store Today. So much funner that that lady I almost ran over in the gluten-free aisle the other day, She was forward-lunging in full work-out togs including a headband. :roll:

That was absolutely effing inspiring. I love people like that. I guess I should just come right out of the dance-walk closet and be one myself. The best I've done so far is dance-waiting-for-the-metro.

hillarious!!! So today I woke up SICK!!! BLAH!!! :roll: My throat is horribly sore and my head just feels off. I'm still in my bathrobe. Lucky for me we have no plans today and the kids have friends over so I don't even need to go outside... I hate being sick. I'm just going to down all the vitamin C, oil of oregano, cold meds and pray for a quick recovery. I hate being sick!!!
