Well, well, well. Here I am at the beginning of week 7. I know that people are surprised that I have lasted this long. The only other time I had stuck with a diet this long is when I did Body for Life for 3 months. I had motivation then because it was a competition with coworkers and there was money involved. Which, by the way, I won. Shortly after it was over though, I was back to my same bad habits.

Funny, my mind set is sooooo different this time around. I don't think of it as a "diet" but a life change. I know this is what all of the old timers on this board keep trying to gently poke into the brains of us newbies. And they are right. I never did kick my cravings on Body for Life, and it felt like punishment. South Beach does not. I don't know if it is the differences in the diet or the difference in the person.

I was so sore from doing the yoga yesterday. I couldnt' talk myself into doing it today. So I drug hubby and dog out for a walk. I wanted to do a mile, but only made it a 1/2 a mile. Jeeeez. But I broke a sweat and felt nauseated. So I know I had a workout and I know that it was time to stop. This is why people like my sistah
PIRANHA amaze me. Oh, well. Baby steps right??? I know I will never be a marathon runner with the bad heart and all, but I will make it to a mile at least.
