Just dropping in to say that I am glad that the surgery was successful and that you are home now! Congrats on the 50lb loss too! Hope you are back to feeling 100% again and good luck figuring out that tattoo design!

B: scrambled eggs, refried beans, ham steak, coffee, water
L: grilled shrimp, salad/ranch, ice tea
S: 1 square of sugar free 60% dark chocolate
D: toppings of of half a veggie pizza, salad/ranch, ice tea,
S: 1% milk

Steps: 2785 going to start working my way back up 500-1000 steps a day.
Start Date: 4/18/09
Start Weight: 318
Current weight: 195
Next Mini Goal: get out of 190's

D: superbird/no bacon, side salad/ranch/no croutons, water

Steps: 3706 (921 more steps then yesterday)

I ate and drank a lot today so I expect my weight to be up some tomorrrow.

Brandy....50 POUNDS LESS OF YOU!!!!! CONGRATS in a major way!!! When I see just how great you're doing overall, it amazes me!!! You are the BOMB...all those steps you walk AND the food logs look awesome. You need your face on the cover of South Beach Weekly! That is, when someone starts the magazine. I'd vote for ya in a heartbeat :wink: Enjoy your success. Hugs

Started my freakin' period today. 24 day cycle. I swear. It just keeps getting shorter and shorter since I started SB. Very annoying.

Yesterdays steps: 2891 :roll: Recommited myself to the walking today. My goal was to get to 6000 today. Tomorrow 7000. Saturday 8000. Sunday 9000. And Monday finally back up to the 10000.

I felt pretty good today. As far as post surgical stuff. Not as sore and not as tired. 8)

Weight: 269

B: red huevos rancheros/no tortilla/no hashbrowns, pinto beans, salad, strawberries/orange slices, V8, coffee, water
L: cheese stick and a BUNCH of jicama, ice tea. :oops: That is all I had in the house and I still can't drive yet. :roll:
S: nectarine, cheese stick, 1% milk
D: chopped steak, grilled zucchini, salad, ice water

Steps: 6431

S: small popcorn/no butter, diet coke, 1 square of sugar free dark chocolate (at the movies)
L: salmon, black beans, side salad/ranch, water
S: 1% milk
D: chili, side salad, ice tea


Steps: 8000+ (including a 20 min walk)

Saturday was the first day that I have been to the movies since I started SB in April. Last time I went I almost did not fit in the seat at all and was terrible uncomfortable and embarrassed. :cry: :oops: The seat fit comfortably this time and that made me feel like a million bucks. :mrgreen:

Brandy-girl, I am so happy for you 1. for jumping right back on the walking track after surgery 2. for your meal plans...they look really good 3. for the wgt loss...amazing results so far AND 4. FOR FITTING INTO THOSE MOVIE HOUSE SEATS!!!!! How well I know the feeling of squeezing into seats at ball parks, movie houses and the worst yet, the seats for midgets on jets. Will tell on myself...I NEVER could fit into the seatbelts on planes, so I tucked the end of the seatbelt between the layers of me...hoping the airline attendants didn't catch on. They didn't....UNTIL dh and I were flying British Airlines to England last year...the girl caught on real quick (those smart Brits!!) and ask if I needed an extender to which I said, yes but let me tell you, I was so embarrassed, esp since dh was beside me and it made me feel so sorry for him to have a wife so stinkin' fat and to have gotten 'caught' at my old trick of tucking the seatbelt to make it look fastened when it wasn't...dh had no idea I'd been doing that for yrs, prob never even thought of it. What an eye-opener if ever there was one. Confession is good for the soul, right!!! I've confessed so let's celebrate your victory and mine...I didn't need the extender when I flew back from Ohio in July! CONGRATS to us both! You have a marvelous Monday and keep doing what you're doing....it's ALL good! Hugs.

Thanks for sharing Gramma. I have to admit that I ate the cost of airplane tickets that I had already paid for last year to Vegas because the anxiety of possibly not fitting into the seats was just too much for me. So we drove 15 hours instead. :roll: :oops: :shock:

Today (Weds) I get to drive, move my arm again and stop sleeping in the immobilizer. :mrgreen: I can tell I am healing nicely because I am starting to get bored. Will be better now that I can actually leave the house without an escort to drive me. That was highly annoying. I need my independance!!! :twisted:
