HA HA HA HA!!!

(Is that scale for REAL?????)

Well I DID IT!! I made my goal weight this morning! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

So now I start on what might be my LAST 5 pounds! I'm thinking that my final goal weight is kind of high for my height - especially reading the goal weights that all the newbies even TALLER than me put down - but I have four kids including twins and I'm not a spring chicken..... so we shall see what we see. I'm kind of doubtful I will even be able to get down another 5 pounds! It took me forever to get to this last goal weight.

I'm sure excited though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way Jose!! You have too many people around you that like you roly poly!! They tempt you with pizza or fattening cooking. Instead of losing 5 pounds for you I will GAIN 10 pounds for ME! That's how that "weight loss by proxy" works! Scary stuff!

COWabunga, Dude!
Scale step-aerobics! Really paid off.
Now, don't get all greedy and start gunning for Kelly Ripa. Lizards: not sexy.
Smell the roses, spend quality powder room time appreciating the STTS.
Have yourself sprayed orange and show Abu your crocheted (I love that word, giggle) dress.
way to go, kyan! (make me a fajita)

Bethy, Dene, Dragonfly!! I missed you, too!!

How've you been??? I can read some journals, but Dene - since you don't journal you will have to tell me how you are!

I'm ok. I have a fat person inside that wants to be heard and fed!! My weight is still pretty much the same - I think I am up 2 pounds... but I quit exercising awhile ago, so that's not too shabby. I hate exercising. :(

Food is good. Water is good. Cheating is at a minimum. So I don't know what my problem is.

I've made some incredible recipes that I will have to come and share with you. Really AWESOME food! Too bad I seriously hate cooking.....

Thanks for checking on me, ladies. I need to kick these blues!!

So glad you checked in on your journal and found us missing you!!! 2 pounds is not bad, just don't let it double, then triple, then.... As Barney Fife said, "nip it, nip it, nip it in the bud." Mix up your exercise so you don't burn out on one thing.

I am having a love/hate relationship with my scale right now. I was discouraged yesterday because between weigh-ins the scale said I was going down, then yesterday's weigh-in put me right back up where I was the week before!!! Grrrrrr.

Gave up my gym membership and bought an elliptical for home. DH and I both can exercise this way. Have had to face Mother's Day, DD's birthday, SIL's birthday, and my 40th anniversary in a month's time, so I had to try not to let it de-rail my diet. (too much)

Share the recipes. I don't cook anything too fancy, but I've tried 3 recipes from the SB cookbook in the last couple weeks. Stay in touch!!!

I hear ya on kickin the Blues!

I hate cooking too...maybe if I was good at it that could change. It doesn't help when my daughter tells me I'm the worst cook in the world.

I hope you are well...missed you bunches! :D

Ky you old heiffer. Stick around and I'll try to stick around to see if you do. I've been avoiding the place and I don't know why. S'not cause I've been unbeachy or anything, just don't seem to have anything to Say...
Other than.
I skipped the pool for two weeks. Hated myself for it. Felt Impending Doom. Still couldn't make myself go. Started thinking up excuses as soon as my eyes opened every monday and wednesday. Went back this monday. God, it was awful. Went back again yesterday (had to hold a non-pink knife to my throat, totally wanted to hide my bathing suits in the bottom drawer and never go back at all) and about halfway through my workout I started feeling pretty good all of a sudden: perkier-almost cheerful. Didn't even know I'd been feeling bad until I felt better. Is there a journal place for Dumbasses Anonymous? Next monday I'll have 5 good excuses thought up before I finish my coffee, I just know it.

Ha, Bethy! I notice that you're posting everywhere EXCEPT your own journal. A little avoidance here? Not ready to commit? Let's hijack Ky's journal and see how long it takes her to notice

I'm getting worried about Ky. She might have stampeded during the fire and snagged herself on some barbed wire or something.
What if the 7/11 burned down and she Starved to Death??
