My vote is for the lard and sugar "cream" filled ones, lol! Always my favorite, even at Dunkin' Donuts back when they actually put filling in their filled donuts. Luckily the nearest Krispy Kreme is about 90 miles away. I only get them about every 5 years, which is a good thing.

I am sitting here laughing out loud at my journal. I should rename it Ky's Krispy Kreme Komments!

It seems we all like different kinds of donuts which is a good thing - otherwise the donut places would only have one kind and every once in a while I USED to like to try something different.

And as crazy as this sounds... I used to LOVE to buy donuts... bring them home... and they would go stale in the box. I know! I know! SOOO strange, right? Sometimes I would eat ONE of them. MAYBE two. Now if it were a dozen homemade chocolate cupcakes they would be inhaled one after the other.

I just want something to EAT. Is there like a mock-ricotta-jello-splenda-bean donut???

It seems as if the crazy train has been rolling through so many journals. I don't think I've ever seen the forum so active (and kooky - but in a good way). :D

So, I must know, with your sense of humor, do you watch Big Bang Theory? It's one of the few shows on TV that can actually make me laugh out loud.

And Happy Birthday to your twins!

Wow, what the heck happened to my cartoon from this morning? Grrrrr!

I love Big Bang Theory! My daughter and her husband have the first - five seasons is it so far that are out on DVD? And we've watched them all! My favorite character is Amy Farah Fowler - or whatever the name is. The one who isn't Sheldon's girlfriend but she thinks she and Penny are BFF's. I also really like Bernadette. They are ALL awesome!!

I think my favorite episode is the one where Sheldon was trying to teach Penny about Physics and he starts back millions of years ago and he keeps starting over - and then later Penny blows them away by talking about fig newton cookies and then goes on into that technical explanation that just blows them all away! ha ha

Oh and Raj - who can't speak in front of women!! lol

Hmmm.. my cartoon is back! Must be the Twilight zone!

I had a really BAD day yesterday. It was the Twins' birthday and I ate two donuts, a cheese enchilada, queso and chips, two bites of a rellano, a soft taco and a scoop of Jamoca almond fudge from Basken Robbins for dessert.

My scale was up THREE AND A HALF POUNDS from yesterday. I know I didn't gain that much in one day... but it's still creepy and disheartening.

Easily explained. That's half a pound from calories and three pounds of guilt. And now that you have confessed, your guilt should slowly resolve itself and you'll be good as new in a day or so! For your penance, please describe that scoop of B-R goodness -- I want a bite for bite shared experience. (Hey - we just invented contact highs for food junkies! LOL)

Seriously, some of it could be salt. Drink plenty of wawa and see if you can wash it away today.

There is some bizarre scale stuff going on, it's something to do with kinks in the jet stream, sun spots, heavy metals and harmonic distortion. Enchiladas don't enter into it. I put my scale under the bed to protect it till the earth passes out of this matrix, suggest you do the same. Continue monitoring STTS at six hour intervals until the Scale Optimalization Squad gives the all-clear.

Why do we always insist on weighing ourselves the morning after a big splurge? Do we actually think the scale is going to go DOWN :?: Are we trying to see just how bad it is?? Are we trying to punish ourselves so we resort to eating asparagus three times the next day to flush all the fluids out of our bodies!??

Have a nice P1 day and forget it. It was your twins' birthday for heaven's sake!!!

I'll confess in your journal to make you feel better. Forgive me Kyan, for I have cheated. I'm making myself my own birthday cake, and I licked the beaters and spatula...

It's a chocolate butter cake, and I'm going to make it a triple layer cake with cookies and cream filling and then I'm going to pour a cooked chocolate frosting over the top of it.

The good thing is that it is only a 6" cake, and my parents will be here to share it with us. Hopefully it will be devoured in one sitting tomorrow night.

On to non-food topics. I love Sheldon's girl who's a friend, but not a girlfriend too! I think it's hilarious that Blossom is now super-nerd. One of my favorite episodes is when they terminate their friendship agreement and he goes out and buys 20+ cats and names them all after scientists, except for one who he calls Zazzy.
