Boo! I made a TRIPLE batch of the chicken and all I got was this one little chicken strip fragment that was in one of the packages of breast cutlets.
4 men ate it all :( It's MY diet food. Udderly Unfair.

Fool. All you had to do is tell them it was healthy and you made it for their own good. They wouldn't have touched it.

Hi there, Jin!!

It's been a rough week. Ex-husband problems. Grrrrr! And when I get REALLY depressed.... I get bad.

I didn't exercise all week and I ate 7-11 dinners three nights in a row. That means chocolate-peanut butter bugles and BBQ corn nuts and Squirt or 7-up. I mean... come on! Who the heck else eats that for DINNER? I'm a sick puppy. Er... I mean cow.

And the weirdest thing of all is that I haven't gained any weight. None! I'm still right where I was!

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WEIGHT LOSS AT ALL!!

Howeversome.... the crappy food made me feel crappy.... so I am back on track - despite unresolved ex-issues!

Well it's about dern time. I do not even believe in the existence of chocolate peanutbutter bugles. Regular bugles were bad enough. How will you ever get them to stay on your fingertips with chocolate and peanut butter in the way. It sounds messy. (like exes). You *know* where the lbs from 7-11 are. They're doing that hovering thing. I've had it happen a million times. They'll wait 10 days or so, and then drop right when you're back living right again and expecting to weigh less!
I have wracked my brain for Years trying to figure out how that works. I mean you ate it, it's in there, how can it not show up right after you swallow it? Helium pockets?

All hell's broken loose around here and I've been missing you. :D

Aw geez, Kyan, don't dispair, you're not alone in the 7-11 dinners! I've loved them for days on end... but for breakfast! You know, two monster sized Slim Jims (are they still slim if they're monster?), a bag of chips, a cheese stick (or two or three) and apple juice. Same, same.

But, you're back on track and that's all you can do. That and avoid that scale for a couple of weeks. You can't hear it squeal if you don't listen to it!

Exactly. Ky's my Guardian Guernsey and I need her to keep me in recipes and in line (at chipotle's).
7-11's here are called WAWA's

WA WA's? What in the world? I wonder how (and why) they came up with that name?

Our favorite clerk in our 7-11 looks exactly like the Simpson's convenience store clerk Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. The resemblance is amazing! He is the nicest guy - but he encourages us to be very BAD!! He will say "get a donut - they are really fresh!" or tell us to buy a cinnamon roll the size of Rhode Island! He's going to college while he works at 7-11 but I can't remember what he's majoring in. Probably rocket science or something! I think I mentioned once that the workers in a lot of the fast food places around here know us by name! That is disturbing.

I weighed myself this morning (and that was BEFORE the er... "constitution") and I was down another half pound. I like to think that the bathroom session at least gave me an edge of another half pound... so HOT DIGGETY DOG!!! However, I realize that you are right Bethy.... the pounds are floating around me waiting to body slam me in a week or two. They are probably plotting to join in a giant mass behind my belly button or on the thighs.

Speaking of recipes - did I mention my peach and pecan scramble? It's really awesome and easy if you have access to a GOOD peach. (Which isn't easy to find!)

Sharley - what kind of chips? I forgot that I ate a bag of Nacho cheese Doritos the other night! They were pretty tasty.....

A good peach is Easy to find. You just go to Georgia in late June and pull over anywhere
And then go fishing till the pecans are ready in november and you're good to go.
I've had the "Oh Thank Heaven for 7/11" song stuck in my head since last night: THANKS
If WAWA has a song I don't know it yet. And I don't Wawantto.
But there's a WAWA university right across from the Franklin Mint. (fake money And crap food, that's why it's called the Keystone State)
Have a good one you moo cow, plop a fresh pie by the front door, maybe ex'll step in it

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! (And any other cows besides me out there!) I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!!!!!!!!!!

This morning I weighed myself and I am a pound and a half to my next goal... which means I am 5-10 pounds away from phase 3!!

When I started this journey in February of 2009 I weighed MORE than I weighed at the end of my pregnancy with TWINS! So although I said I only wanted to lose 12 pounds, I was just embarrassed to admit how much I weighed and how much I needed to lose!

I looked in the mirror this morning and realized that I can see the scar from the surgery to remove my tumor without lifting up my stomach! I can sit on the toilet before hopping in the shower and NOT feel my stomach on my thighs!! (I hated that!) I don't look pregnant any more! And no more sweating under the folds of skin! WOOOHOOO!!

I didn't do this journey because of how others viewed me, or how I looked or for what clothes I could wear. I personally do not see overweight people as looking unattractive. I did it to FEEL good inside, and to be healthy. I hated being tired and depressed and feeling "gross" (sick) from eating crappy junk food. Although I sure love the taste of some of that junk food! LOL

I am almost there. And I know I can do it .... I can't wait!

My picture before I changed my diet.....
