I have to go back at least once more-the lady got as much stuff off as she could but she couldn't get everything-the dentist is going to have to numb my mouth so he can clean underneath my gums where she couldn't get without hurting me.

She was so impressed with how quiet I was the whole time that I got two toothbrushes :D

I am in the middle of deep scaling right now. they have to put me out with nitrous before they give me the novicane... i'm the worst dental patient...

Nessa, I've already sat for an hour while he pulled all my bad teeth and then a few weeks later sat there for another hour while he filled two big cavities. This cleaning didn't hurt unless she slipped and hit my gums and she only used a topical on the inside of my bottom because the gums back there were sensitive.

I think I'll be ok, he's already shot me plenty of times with no problems, he usually sprays a topical on my gums before he uses the needle.

Hey, how did my journal turn into Dental Central??   I'm teasing. I'm overdue for a dental check-up. I hope all I need is a cleaning, but that might be wishful thinking. We'll see.

Tell me about it ;)

If it weren't for the ulcer I've had I'd feel pretty good.

I've already hit close to $3000, including the partials

Yeah, NYC, in my mouth, the lower partial rubbed me the wrong way. The lady adjusted it and it feel much better. After all the rinsing I did with peroxide during the cleaning it should be good and cleaned out too ;)

I'm so glad that my dentist is really cute and charming, or I'd have absolutely NO motivation to go whatsoever. I know, I'm pathetic!

Hellos right back :D

I haven't been on all day-working and then cooking.

At least my ulcer is 100% better-I can chew on that side with only minimal discomfort instead of full-blown agony :D

Hi, Chatty! Glad your mouth ulcer is better. :)

Hey, All!

My stomach is not doing well since I cut the grains in my diet. I need to start adding some whole grains back. They absorb stomach acid, and I just can't take the GERD pain anymore. I wasn't having this pain when I was eating more whole grains.

My mom found some pearl barley in her supermarket and picked it up for me (mine didn't carry it). I also have chicken stock now, so I'm going to check out the recipe forum for some pearl barley ideas. If anyone has experience cooking this, please shout out some ideas. Thanks! :)
