Hey, folks!
Busy days ... Tuesday was another morning of VBS, and then our new pastor's wife came to pick up their kids and we ended up talking a bunch. They are just getting moved in (from Vermont), and their truck has been delayed - they got here last Friday, I think?

Luckily, they're very easygoing people, so they've essentially been camping in their new house. Ann (her name) called me back once we were home to see if I could watch the kids after VBS today because, after being told Friday or Saturday for the truck, it's now coming TODAY. Yikes! SO I'll be picnicking downtown with 5 kids, then keeping them amused for the afternoon - hoping to go to our childrens' museum, but am open to just about anything! Trying to avoid my house, as they have some dog/cat allergies ... should be fun.

Thier kids are 4 and 2.
I've been much better on food, exercise, etc. ... actually got in 2 workouts yesterday, as I did TaeBo in the morning (and an 8-minute abs thing), then walked the dog for about 40 minutes last night. I'm about to go down now, but just thought I'd check in.
Anne - so glad you're home and doing well! The "official" ultrasound is so cool ... lots of detail, so we'll be expecting pictures! They've gotten far less stingy about that - you usually end up with a bunch. Bummer to be back in school, though.
Nessa - get thee to the gym, girl! Just do half an hour of weights in addition to the walking of the dogs. Seriously.
Dee, thanks for all your encouraging words ... what color would you like your pompoms to be?
Scarlett, you're doing so well - keep focusing on the veggies!
Wiley, thanks for checking in - I am, indeed, doing better. Loved the pics in your journal, you gorgeous thing, you!
Anne and
LB and anyone else I missed, thanks for all your support. Feels like a great trestle bridge under me - no way I can fail with everyone encouraging me!
Off to exercise, then face the day with a smile - must get riled up for "ranch" duties, babysitting, then a church council meeting tonight. Woohoo! Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Vita brevis ... carpe diem!
