Got on the scale for my weekly Monday morning weigh in.....down 2-3 pounds! (How accurate can a $2 scale be?) I have finally broken the 130 barrier! And on top of the handfuls of Christmas treats too! I was a little surprised to say the least, but happy none the less. Hope this season is treating all of you right!

Weigh in for the end of the challenge:

F: 129
S: 130
S: 126

We were out of town on Fri and Sat, so I used a different scale. My Sun, weigh in was on my home scale that I originally started on. So I guess that makes a 4 pound loss!!

You know what I love about this New Year? My resolution has nothing to do with losing weight or trying to be more healthy or exercising regularly. Why? Because I feel like I have already accomplished those things. It is so nice to already have the mindset of a healthier lifestyle. After my week off after Christmas, it's easy to see why I should be healthy. I didn't workout much, therefore, did not have the great jumpstart on my day. While everything tasted good, I had way too many stomach aches from all the garbage I was eating.

Here's to all those who resolve for a healthy new year!! Cheers!

I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted here. I've been chatting in the challenge threads and updating my points daily in the points threads, but not so much around here.

I don't keep track of my food intake anymore. I probably should, but it has just become such a habit to eat right, that I just don't do it anymore. I'm proud of my accomplishment in making daily exercise and eating healthy a habit. One that I will (hopefully) hold on to for a long time.

I keep deciding to keep better track of my food intake and do so for a couple of days, but then I quit thinking about it because I think I'm doing so well. Well, I find myself grabbing handfuls of cashews that are on the counter, and the mini m&ms, and the valentine candy corn that I got for my "decoration". So how do I keep track of a handful of this and a handful of that? My theory today is to not have to keep track of it! My goal for this week (we'll start slow) is to keep my hand out of the candy dish! :D Also to write down everything that goes into my mouth, regardless. So here goes...

Monday

S: apple and 2 T. peanut butter (pre-workout)
B: omelette (1 egg, 2 egg whites), onions, peppers, mushrooms (no cheese, I'm trying to quit
 )
L:
D:don't ask...it was one of those days where the kids have been driving me crazy!

Hopefully this will help get my snacking under control. After our Super bowl gathering and all the non-SB stuff around I am determined to do well this week.

Good for you! That's wonderful. :)

Happy Day one on the challenge, teamie. ;)

So, if your New Years resolution isn't "health" related - Do you have a different resolution?

Oh, I still have quite a few. However, I have listed them by life category in my blog. I just added the link to my signature line if you're interested.

I have an acoustic, very traditional looking, the brand name is Albilene. My husband got it for me for Christmas 3 years ago, maybe it was 4, but it definitely does not have the wear that it should have.

Gotcha. My DH used to have a Taylor. He recently sold it and got a Santa Cruz. They both sounded great! I love the sound of guitars. If only my fingers could change chords fast enough, I would play. Alas, I just play piano. 8)
