ParadigmShift, Know how you feel. I would of jumped up and down and turned summer salts for some ice cream yesterday. BUT...I couldn't let LeeLee get ahead of me on the PBD. I got a crown before her and she beat me last month, so that was exciting! ROFLOL Isn't it amazing what will get us going and cause us to stick to it! Potatos, rice, bread, not my thing, sweets gets me! Keep up the Awesome Attitude and that will help keep you on track. It is a WOE. Just take one day at a time, my friend. You are doing great. I can't wait until I can say my clothes are loose! LOL
Still working on increasing the Metabolism. It amazes me that I am eating 400 to 500 more calories a day and I AM NOT gaining weight. Talk about puzzling you! I've am uping my calories on Friday and I don't know how I'm going to get 200 more calories in in a day. 1600 is bad enough! Give me a cookie or ice cream and I wouldn't have any problem at all!
God Bless...

Well God is really moving fast on me lately. Too much to say but it is all good!! It is very good. I am a sweet eater to angel. I don't go nuts on potatoes and all it is just a good change.

I had to go to Trader Joe's to get my mom her couscous the lady cannot live with out it. It has become her new comfort food. She is really sticking with it tho. No losses here on either end but the jeans are fitting better and there is a difference between boobs and belly when I look down now roflol!! When your boobs look like they are getting smaller it is because your belly got bigger haha!! But back to having boobs.. here!! here!!

I have slowed down too much on fruits and veggies. It is not like I don't have any I just know I can up them. I just am full. I am not hungry. I don't eat alot of meat. I have to re-evaluate to see what h appens. I need to hit the desert recipes bad I think. I am not craving sweets but I would just like them. I can go by the bakery at the store and not salivate. I can even look at things and they will not bother me. So that is a BIG NSV.

Went to the dentist today and I have the gas because of sensitive teeth. I had to have one in the back refilled. WHOA it really affected me fast!! I had to tell the asisstant to slow down that stuff, I was going to pass out!! Now I have not felt myself all day and I had it done at 10 am. I feel drunk. I don't like it either!! So tired too. When did you guys say you got energy?? I was going to try to exercise because things slowed down but now the tiredness. I know if I try to get back into it it will help. Mornings help the most. I have just been busy. Sigh the Lord will work it out.

Flirting with another pound down. It is something how you lose it so fast then boom a halt to all activities. It takes faith and fortitude to keep on keeping on. I have no choice tho. I am changing and that is that!!

yuck my concoction with peanutbutter and cocoa with splenda and oatmeal wwas yuck. Sometimes there is no substitute!!

It seems that it may be hormonal that I taste the after taste of splenda more times than others.

Try one of these, Dolly-VA gave them to me....

Chocolate Chip Banana Flax Muffins

Wet:
2 eggs
2 small containers NSA applesauce (or 1 cup)
1/4 c brown sugar (Whey Low works great, can use Splenda or sf syrup, too)
1/3 c milk
1-2 very ripe, mashed bananas
3/4 c flaxmeal
2 tsps vanilla extract

Dry:
1-1/2 cups GF flours (1/2 c chickpea, fine corn and tapioca is best or other combo)
2 tsps baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp Xanthan gum
1/4 tsp salt

1/4 c mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix wet and dry ingredients separately. Add chips to dry. Stir wet into dry till just mixed. Spray 12 muffin tins. Put in batter. Bake 26 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes in tins. Remove.

Warm “Brownie”

In a small custard dish add:

1 Tbs nut butter (almond is the best and I use 2 tsp to 1T, not more)
1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
3 Tbs NF dry milk (carnation type)
1 pkt Splenda

Mix till very crumbly, put in microwave for 20 seconds (15 if you have a very strong microwave). Add:

2 tsps Splenda sweetened pancake syrup (or other sf syrup)

Mix really, really well. Mooshing and stirring till it's very dark and creamy. You want all the milk powder dissolved and mixed in. Nuke 20 (15) seconds more. Stir again. If it is still dry add 1 tsp more syrup (depends on the amount of nut butter you use, you want it a little stiff, just not dry). Mix well if you added more syrup then flatten in the dish. Serve with a tiny spoon.

Variation:
Add 1 Tbs flaxmeal and 1 extra tsp syrup to mixture. Yum!

Warm Nut “Blondie”

In a small custard dish add:

1 Tbs nut butter (almond is the best and I use 2 tsp to 1T, not more)
4 Tbs NF dry milk
1 pkt Splenda

Mix till very crumbly, put in microwave for 20 seconds (15 if you have a very strong microwave). Add:

2 tsps Splenda sweetened pancake syrup (or other sf syrup)

Mix really, really well. Mooshing and stirring till it's very creamy. You want all the milk powder dissolved and mixed in. Nuke 20 (15) seconds more. Stir again. If it is still dry add 1 tsp more syrup (depends on the amount of nut butter you use, you want it a little stiff, just not dry). Mix well if you added more syrup, then flatten in the dish. Serve with a tiny spoon.

Warm Reese’s “Brownie”
This tastes just like a Reese's PB cup!
Paula

In a small custard dish add:

1 Tbs natural peanut butter
4 Tbs NF dry milk
1 pkt Splenda

Mix till very crumbly, put in microwave for 20 seconds (15 if you have a very strong microwave). Add:

2 tsps Splenda sweetened chocolate flavored syrup

Mix really, really well. Mooshing and stirring till it's very creamy. You want all the milk powder dissolved and mixed in. Nuke 20 (15) seconds more. Stir again. If it is still dry add 1 tsp more syrup (depends on the amount of nut butter you use, you want it a little stiff, just not dry). Mix well if you added more syrup, then flatten in the dish. Serve with a tiny spoon.
