I have never managed to lose more then 15 ibs at one time and I seem to lose 10 and gain 20 pretty much all the time. So I thought WHY DIET!!! Diets don't work!
I just ate well for some time and kept losing about 1/2lb a week. It was sooo slow. I fell off the diet wagon too fast. I lost heart so many times I cannot count. The latest thing was Oprah's trainer Bob Greene. I did his thing. I exersized faithfully for one month. Sheesh I thought this was going to do it forsure!! At the end of one month I had lost 2 lbs and had nearly killed myself exersizing. There had to be a better way.
MIL got a scare with health and I was sick and under stress for most of the summer. I gained my hard won 2 lbs plus 6.... I was mortified!!
How many can relate that it is not as much fun eating as we think it is at the time.
Well so far so good today on the WOE. Hey I finally found out what a woe is!! To all newbies reading this I will give you an invaluable tip!! It means Way of Eating!!! Hmmmm it took me long enough to find out. I thought I was missing on something really big.
Well any how it seems to be working cutting the cravings even with my family waving things I cannot have in my face. Hubby asked about having pizza tonite
Whew I am glad I have a certain amount of unusual resolve for this today!
I am hoping that this is something that will finally help. BTW that book was not helpful to me. I ran from it. These boards are what finally convinced me to give this another whirl. I also do know a girl that had been obese for most of her childhood and teen years. She has just lost it doing SBD. It is funny but I wonder if she really follows the program. I have not seen her eat like it said to eat. Oh well she looks fabulous!! If she has hope I have hope.
