Looking forward to power vinyasa and then yoga for athletes following. A special 3 time workshop triyogi Mary is doing at Breathe. Nutrition is half the focus and a shortened flow as a warm up for running or other sports is the other half. Food today was: yogurt, 3 dark chocolate squares, banana, guacamole with whole wheat pita chips, 2tbsp sharp cheddar cheese. Dinner will be a salad w/ protein and apple for dessert. Need veggies!

Today was one of those crazy days. Taught 8-11:20 and then paddled from 1-2:30 changed back into work clothes and back to work for a meeting at 4 and 5:30 and then more paddle at 7. Yes I changed in the Country Clubs parking lot-all women playing tonight. Home now but pooped. Food was good but need to work on eating earlier and getting snacks in. Great double yoga last night and body is feeling strong.

Yesterday was a good food day and clean, beachy eating. Planning on stringing the days together. Need to food shop and think I am going to try going by a weekly menu and try to stick to it. Need to get organized before the boy/man begins swim season. Heading to Charlotte in two weeks to present at an Education Conference and maybe Arizona in February if all planets align. Hopefully someday I will head to Colorado to present and then be able to practice yoga w/ Rox!

Tough yoga tonight but great fun. Dealing with a stiff neck and a relapse of the cold and ear aches. Food has been on track and making sure I eat! Rings are rolling-I love that. Today I wore a dress I wore at a special party three years ago and it still fits-Oh what a feeling!!!

Gosh been on facebook more than here. Food and exercise are on track and clothes are fitting better after tightening up my food. I really cannot eat oatmeal in the morning. Makes me hungry all day. I do much better w/ eggs or yogurt and fruit. Went to a nutrition class that was part yoga for athletes and realized that carbs can be good for me as long as I choose wisely. When I eat one carb a day my body clings on to it cuz it needs it. Especially with all the exercise I do. As always working it and keeping my toes in the sand.

Obviously not on this board enough-page 2!!!!
Great power vinyasa class w/ Cyndi at Breathe. One of those nights where I was so thankful to be there. Headstand was strong and piked up and down without a sound. Sometimes I do not give my core the credit it deserves! ; ) Food has been good since my trip to Charlotte. Visited a yoga studio there that was Baptiste style. My favorite part was cold washcloths that had been wet and refrigerated with a scent of lavender on them for savasana-lovely in a very heated room.(95 degrees and mini heaters placed all around the room over forehead and eyes. Working it and planting my feet firmly on the beach.

Well I have decided to get back on here on a daily basis and record my continuous journey of being fit, healthy and living on the beach. (with sunscreen of course!) I received a treadmill for Christmas and want to keep track of that on here, my food and other athletic pleasures that I have adopted. (yoga, biking, paddle tennis and tennis) I have kept a lot of my SBD friends on Facebook/Yim but looking to gain and give support with those that are working the food and healthy attitude.
Food today
After power vinyasa yoga
Breakfast-Banana and yogurt/water
Lunch-large salad w/ cheese
Diet Dr. P
snacks-nuts(may add to salad) and snap peas and tahini/ water
Dinner-not sure yet

Just back from power vinyasa yoga with Cyndi.Great class and we did tripod headstand into half moon-fun!Just ate breakfast of two eggs scrambled with cheese and one slice of whole wheat toast.
Planning either a banana or Clementine now and will have veggies and Tahini for lunch. Dinner is unknown but thinking a large salad w/ chicken. Working on drinking water w/ lemon instead of diet Dr. P. Namaste!

WB! Went to my wife's studio for New Years Day class. 10 sun A's, 10 astanga sun B's (just W1 with vinyasa flow to DD), 10 Moon salutes with a flow I've never done before, 10 Kripalu Moon salutes that were funky and 2 Earth salutes again with a flow that was unfamiliar. 10 reps each were for 2010 and L&R sides together counted as 2. Still was about a 2+ hour workshop but a bit slow and cool for my tastes but I was playing the good hubby for a change.

Working on plans and themes for my own class tonight! Gotta run! Hope you win and have a good evening! Go with red wine IMO!! :D
