Well I haven't had a whole lot of time to post this week, but I seem to be doing pretty well with eating. Ok, last night I had a footlong Subway sub (shame, shame!) but I haven't been eating enough the last few days and I needed a filling meal on the run. My choices were Subway or pizza and I took the lesser of 2 evils. I could've had a salad instead, but I wanted a sub so I had a sub.

I'm done feeling guilty when I eat something non-SBD friendly; I'm eating much healthier now than I have in probably 15 years so each positive step I take is a step in the right direction and the backwards steps do not out number the positive steps. It might make my weight loss happen slower but it doesn't feel like such a shock to my body.

I just went grocery shopping on my lunch hour and loaded up with more goodies. I feel "prepared" enough with groceries to get me through next week till payday (I hope!). Lots of fresh veggies are ready in my garden which is an added bonus.

I'm really feeling good on this diet. Not that I consider it a diet, I consider it a lifestyle change and only one of many I'm trying to make. Now that I seem to have the eating somewhat under control I need to work harder at drinking more water and exercising daily. I have the treadmill sitting in the living room just waiting for me to dust it off and use it again. As for water, that sort of goes hand-in-hand with exercising...it's a must. Plus I'm out of $$ until next Friday so I can't buy soda even if I wanted to! LOL

Tonight I NEED to get on that treadmill...

ok shybaby~ here is the question?? ready...

there is a board, it is a jurnal of a fellow beach babe- she has a challenge going right now. the rules are simple but i jioned to get the same edge you are talking about.

challenge to reach 35 points.
points earned by this
a perfect day = 1 point
perfect day = eating beachie all day, drinking 64 oz of water and doing 30 of exersice.
each pound lost = point

there are several people on the challenge we check in grab the scores and put them in our post if we got a new point.

DELETED LINK... PMING AS PER REQUEST OF OWNER

doing this has really helped me become acountable to do my exercising each day:)
soready2lose is doign it as well

Very cool. Yes, I'm a Christian too, I even live NEXT DOOR to my church!!

I'm still a little fuzzy on how to post/update on the thread (or where to find it exactly) so you'll have to coach me on that please.

WHEN YOU GRAB ALWAYS GRAB THE NEWEST ONE AND IT IS A BREEZE.

THE GROUPS IS VERY NICE. SOME OLD SCHOOLERS BEEN AROUND A WHILE. JSUT KEEPIGN UP WITH PHASE 3 SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE HEALTH ISSUES THAT ARE MAKING THEM GAIN WEIGHT EVEN THOUGHT THEY HAVE BEEN BEACHIN IT. BUT ALL IN ALL IT IS A FAMILY:) YOU CAN PM ME IF YOU EVER HAVE A QUESTION. I POSTED A QUESTION TO MAKE SURE INVITING YOU WAS OK. I AM SURE IT IS BUT I HAVE JUST GOT THESE RESPECTFUL THINGS BEAT INTO ME AS A CHILD!!!

shybaby,

hi, I just read up on your journal. you are more then welcome to come and join us.

there is only one correction I need to make. there is no time limit for the exercise. just that you do intentional exercise everyday.

some people are struggling with medical conditions and so can't do 30 min. so it is just do something intentional everyday. what that is is up to you.

treadmill is great. I find it boring. But, I love it when I do it to music. time goes by real quick then. :D

I find that putting on my headphones, cranking up the tunes and zoning the world around me out really helps on the treadmill. I've tried using it in the morning while watching the news and YUK! I've got to have music to keep me going.

Thanks for letting me in!

Just a quick post for those who may be visiting my journal on a regular basis...I haven't dropped off the face of the earth or left the beach. I only have internet access at work and this week has been HORRID here at work and there is no time for posting. I'll be back hopefully in a few days, or next week for sure when the Boss Man is on vacation.

I'M BAAACCCCCKKKKKKKK...sort of.

It's been a rough few weeks with work and my daughter getting sick. I think we're all back on track now and I'm anxious to get back to posting again. The last few weeks weren't an all-out disaster (as far as eating goes) but they certainly could've been better. It definately helps to post everyday and to stay focused.

I feel like I'm always starting over but I have to remember that every positive choice I made with food is a step in the right direction.

Now back to the drawing board...

Thanks Mickiby, I'm back with a vengence! I didn't abandon the Beach WOE but I did stumble off it a little at times. My scale still isn't budging but I'm losing inches to the extent even my boss noticed the other day (and he's a man)!

I'm heading over to check up on the 5's now and I'll be sure to read up on the challenge. I'm ready!
