Congrats to your DD on her graduations! Great having everyone home, is it?

I think I am going to adopt your theory..I appear to be stuck between 134.5 and 136..fluctuates daily. I will now regard this period as a plus..to give my skin time to shrink! LOL! Thanks..

Hope last night was fun! Congratulations to dd! My ds #1 won't even start college until he would've graduated...but that's how he wanted it. They've got many more years, right?? :D

Have a beachy day...and congrats on the loss this week!

So... how was graduation? It took my son an extra year as well, but all things worked out perfectly. He graduated college, married 2 weeks later, then had a daughter who looks just like him. Not saying your DD is going to do the same, but... anyway, hope you're having a lovely day!

Oh, and congrats on losing!! I like the way you think.

Grad was long and tedious - 564 graduates to get through, plus long-winded speeches about teachers' accomplishments. Hey, it's about the STUDENTS!!! Then, it was pouring outside, and nobody wanted to leave the building so there was a logjam trying to get out the door. grrrrrr........ We finally got to leave the building about 30 min. after it was over, then drove back up to NH, went out for a late celebratory lunch, dropped DS off at the bus, and went home to finally collapse!

It was really wonderful seeing DD#1 finally achieve her goal. And, no, Rubeus, she's not getting married and having a baby! Although she's moving in with her DBF 2 weeks later! LOL! She's a determined young woman and will make sure she gets her plans achieved before they think about a family/marriage, etc. (his sister got married last fall and he and DD were in the wedding party - totally freaked them out about all the hoop-la and his normally tame, calm, sedate sister turning into a mini-bridezilla!!! )

Yep, Anne, you're right. They've lots of years ahead of them to get things done. DD wants to go for her Masters (BA in Psych.), but for now knows she needs to get a job and get some experience under her belt - not to mention start having an income so she can start repaying her student loans!

Well, this time on Thursday, I will be sitting on the deck of our rented home in Bermuda, most likely enjoying a margarita! Ah..........a year of planning is finally within reach!!! :D

Psych? She'll need a Masters eventually. She sounds like a young woman with a good head on her shoulders!

Thanks! :D We've been planning this trip for over a year. We've got a lovely (at least, the pictures on the website are) 3 BR + study house rented, so we can save tons of money on food! With 7 of us total, it could get expensive eating out all the time. We basically told the kids we'll spring for the food eaten at the house, but if they eat out, it's on them. They have to pay for the alcohol and their transportation around the island. We provide the lodging and food. And with everyone being in their 20's, we're guaranteed some serious alone time, because they can go do their touristy, sight-seeing thing on their own! And.......everybody had to sign up to pick a day to be responsible for cooking dinner and clean up. Anybody who doesn't clean up after themselves after b'fast or lunch will have to walk the gangplank! (ARRRRGH Matey!!! 8) ) I WILL enjoy my vacation, thank you very much!!!

Bermuda...... hmmmmm I could sneak into your luggage - are you flying out of Manchester or Boston! I will meet you there!

Remember when you get back that we have to get together some time - if your not coming out this way I could always meet you at the mall again!

{{{{{CONNIE}}}}} We're flying out of Logan - it's at least $100 per ticket cheaper (x5 tickets we paid for, that's some serious cash!) Wish I could sneak you into my luggage, but I've gotta be careful I don't exceed the 50# limit. What with the kitchen staples we're taking (spices, coffee, tea, etc) to keep that initial grocery store trip to a minimum, I'm gonna be pushing the limit for sure!

We DEFINITELY have to get together again - soon! Not sure if my schedule is gonna get me to P'mouth anytime soon. I've been neglecting my duties bigtime (for various reasons), and I've got a lot of accounts I need to get into in the Manchester/Concord area. Maybe we could do the mall again......I'm up for it!

So.......hmmm.........how WOULD one go about getting JD to come to our b'day party? 8) Then again, it's also Michael J. Fox's b'day too. He used to live around Woodstock, VT about 10 yrs. ago. Wonder if he's still there....... 8)

Rubeus, wouldn't that be cool if we WERE neighbors? What a hoot!!! :D

Playing hooky today so I can get wash done and clean up around the house. The neighbors are coming in to take care of the critters, so tidying up just seems in order. Anyway, I've gotta make a nice bow for the case of Corona we bought them as a thank-you!

Decided to keep myself honest so I could get a realistic idea of any potential weight gain from the trip, so I weighed in this morning (no access to scales on my appointed day on Sat.). I'm down another 1.2 lbs from Sat. That being said, spotty TOM started on Tues. (figures, right?), so I'm retaining water. Then of course, flying will add to it. As for spotty TOM, it normally lasts for a week to 10 days, then heavy TOM starts. With my luck, it'll change and the heavy stuff will start tomorrow! Anyway, my suitcase will look like the feminine hygiene aisle in the drug store - liners, pads, tampons..... How about some clothes?!!! (yea, extra undies, just in case. ) Ah...........breathe...............I WILL not let it deter me from a good time!!!!!
