Grad was long and tedious - 564 graduates to get through, plus long-winded speeches about teachers' accomplishments. Hey, it's about the STUDENTS!!! Then, it was pouring outside, and nobody wanted to leave the building so there was a logjam trying to get out the door. grrrrrr........ We finally got to leave the building about 30 min. after it was over, then drove back up to NH, went out for a late celebratory lunch, dropped DS off at the bus, and went home to finally collapse!
It was really wonderful seeing DD#1 finally achieve her goal. And, no, Rubeus, she's not getting married and having a baby! Although she's moving in with her DBF 2 weeks later! LOL! She's a determined young woman and will make sure she gets her plans achieved before they think about a family/marriage, etc. (his sister got married last fall and he and DD were in the wedding party - totally freaked them out about all the hoop-la and his normally tame, calm, sedate sister turning into a mini-bridezilla!!!

)
Yep, Anne, you're right. They've lots of years ahead of them to get things done. DD wants to go for her Masters (BA in Psych.), but for now knows she needs to get a job and get some experience under her belt - not to mention start having an income so she can start repaying her student loans!
Well, this time on Thursday, I will be sitting on the deck of our rented home in Bermuda, most likely enjoying a margarita! Ah..........a year of planning is finally within reach!!!
