Thursday 9th August & Friday 10th August

Were the same as what I had in the week, Suppose I am a bit boring :(

Saturday 11th August

Breakfast
Was a late breakfast, I had scrambled eggs with onions, peppers, mushrooms and while I was at it I added half a chilli, an unusual breakfast, I also had last of the bread, 3 sliced, I guess 100g worth of wholemeal bread

Lunch
I had a hot meat filled baguette Pork. They only do white bread :( I kept it to a small size 6" roll I think with onion, kept out my usual stuffing.

Dinner
BBQ at a friends house, I had 1 white roll to go with the burger and a couple pieces of my foccacia that I had made.

Well I had plenty of bread :(. I did weigh myself and I was 100.8 kg or 222.22 lbs. My starting weight was 105kg/231lbs and lost 4kg/9lbs so far. I did have a couple of bad weeks where I wasn't on plan.

As I am on my new shift (6am till 2pm from 11:30 am till 8pm), it has allowed me to cook for myself compared to eating what has been cooked for the others and adapting it.

Still need to include dairy somehow :(, will try and address that this week.

Sunday 12th August

Breakfast
Bit naughty, had my usual 2 boiled eggs. No wholemeal bread left so I had white, a bigger slice than usual, 2 rashes of bacon that was grilled and took off the fat. Then grilled mushrooms and tomato.

Dinner
BBQ again, mostly protine.

I probably snacked on fruit, been eating loads of grapes recently.

Monday 13th August

Breakfast
2 boiled eggs and a slice of wholemeal bread.

Lunch
Salad and an apple

Snack
Now trying to have a snack when I get home, grapes today and will have a bigger meal and hour or two later to try and stop hunger mid evening

Dinner
Salmon with med veg.

Weighed myself again. New low record of 99.3kg or 218.9 lbs. Loss of about 5.7 kilo or 12.56 lbs

Another week over, Weighed myself again and I weigh 98kg/216 lbs. I have eaten recently so maybe another 0.5kg less. Makes a loss of 7kg/15lbs so far. When I returned from holiday I weighed about 102kg/225lbs, In 2 weeks I have lost 4 kg/8.8lbs. I am wondering if that is unhealthy.

The hairy bikers was on last night and they had wrappes. Going to try them as next weeks lunch. Also going to look into flavoured yoghurt, see if any of them are fat and sugar free.

Recepies from the show so far are here http://tinyurl.com/9ubj4am and look to be SB friendly. They also made a low calorie pies. Replaced the fatty unhealthy pastry with a bread dough a brought dry pizza dough mix. Very clever. http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/low-fat_minced_beef_and_34423. Suppose take out the potato to make more SB friendly.

That masala marinated chicken sounds SO good. I might try the cumin crusted veggies, using chunks of cauliflower instead of the potatoes too. Thanks again for posting these recipe links. That chicken might go a long way toward satisfying my tikka masala cravings. About the flavored yogurt: maybe try looking at the low-fat varieties instead of the fat-free. Over here, most of the fat-free ones have sugar or starch added but some of the low-fat ones just have fruit. It seems to be that way with a lot of fat-free dairy products. I'm pretty sure low-fat yogurt with fruit is okay on P2- one serving per day. (But maybe that's from the old book- I'd better go check)

My bad: I was wrong about the LF yogurt. Both the list on this site AND the old book say Non-fat sugar free. Sorry, don't know where I got that wrong idea.

Thanks, I find the recipes by them to be very inspiring. Going to make some wraps for next weeks lunches as I cant find any wholemeal in my local store. I will get some plain fat free yogurt and some fruit, see if I will like yogurt that way.

Saturday 18th August

Breakfast: Two Boiled eggs and whole wheat bread
Lunch: Chilli
Dinner:BBQ Mostly protein. Also had a few pieces of my home made focaccia topped with fish and cheese.
Snacks:Fruit

Sunday 19th August

Breakfast: Two Boiled eggs and whole wheat bread
Lunch: I cant remember what I had
Dinner: Salad
Snacks: Fruit

Monday 20th August

Breakfast: Two Boiled eggs and whole wheat bread
Lunch: I tried a wrap with leftover meat from bbq, wasn't impressed. The wrap was damp and it wasn't pleasant to eat and it was small. Not very filling. Also had an apple.
Dinner: Last of the chilli
Snacks: Fruit

Tuesday 21th August

Breakfast: Two Boiled eggs and whole wheat bread
Lunch: Salad and an apple
Dinner:Baked fish with broccoli and French beans
Snacks:Fruit

I think I am going to change my breakfast to a high fibre cold cereal. Don't think I am getting enough fibre. May also add a small serving of wholemeal pasta to a main meal. Looking at Kelloggs All-Bran provides 11g of fibre for a 40g serving. 40g doesn't sound like enough to keep me full till lunch. Maybe add some fresh fruit to it. May also have 1 boiled egg to go with it.

been awhile since I posted an update.

During weekdays I have been having Bran flakes and 2 boiled eggs. The bran flakes not having the desired effect so I am going to try porridge this week with a little honey. Shall also give me a big boost in my diary intake 270ml of milk with 40g of oats.

Leave out the boiled eggs as the porridge should be enough.

Lunch has been salads and an apple.

Dinner stir frys and an hour or two later the grapes come out.

Last weekend I helped my dad with his party. I stuck to my healthy meals as much as I could. On the actual day I did blow it abit. Not to worried as the odd day wont hurt.

I have started up a profile on http://www.myfitnesspal.com. Been useful. Discovered that my weekday meals my calorie intake has been low 1200 to 1600.

Thanks Berty,

Better do a little update. Been keeping to plan. Had a couple of cheat days. My last weigh in was 95kg, 10kg/22lbs lost so far. Having oats in the mornings has been good. Getting a good helping of dairy.
